Teens Accused Of Forcing 10-Year-Old Into Sex

Three teens in Titusville, Fla., including a 13-year-old boy, were arrested over the weekend for allegedly coercing a 10-year-old girl into having sex, according to Local 6 News.

Jason Glover, 17, and Jeremy Kent, 18.

Investigators said Jeremy Kent, 18, Jason Glover, 17, and a 13-year-old boy took turns having sex with the girl on July 13, a police report said.

It was discovered that the alleged rape happened days after incident and reported to police.

Kent was placed into the Brevard County Jail. Glover and the 13-year-old were placed into the Brevard County Juvenile Detention Center.

Kent has also be

en charged with sexual battery of a 14 year-old, in an unrelated case which in May of this year. In that case, Kent
had forcible sex with the 14 year-old female, according to a police report.

TITUSVILLE, Fla. -- Three are teenagers accused of raping a 10-year-old neighbor and Titusville police think, for one of the boys, it's just part of a brutal crime spree. That teen is also accused of raping one of the 10-year-old victim's friends.

Police said the two young victims and the suspects all knew each other from their Titusville neighborhood. In fact, both crimes happened just a block apart.

Arnold couldn't believe two young girls said they were raped in her neighborhood. The first
attack happened in May. A 14-year-old told police 18-year-old Jeremy Kent held her down and forced her to have sex.

"The worst part about this is she's got these scars for the rest of her life," said Warren Van Vuren, Titusville Police Department.

Police said, so does her 10-year-old friend after sleeping over at the 14-year-old victim's house just two weeks ago. Kent allegedly showed up again with two friends, 17-year-old Jason Glover and 13-year-old Ramone Lewis. Police said all three coerced the 10-year-old into a bedroom and took turns having sex with her.

"Anytime we have a victim of a crime, it's horrible. When you're dealing with children, it adds that e

amation point, if you will, trying to get the case solved as quick as possible," said Van Vuren.

Police said the teens confessed and all three were charged with sexual battery and being held without bond. None of their families wanted to go on camera and one of the victims said, off camera, that she had been threatened.

n"Getting the suspects off the street, that's what we're committed to doing, because anybody that commits crime against a 10-year-old or younger, that's a serious offense," said Van Vuren.

Prosecutors said they're still building the cases, but that it's not unusual for a 17-year-old to be treated as an adult in a case like this. However the 13-year-old will likely remain in juvenile court because of his age.
