EFFINGHAM COUNTY, GA (WTOC) - The Effingham County Sheriff's Office has arrested and charged two with animal cruelty.

A deputy reports that he saw 18-year-old Ashton Wallace and 17-year-old Jerrell Barnes kicking a puppy near the sheriff's office.

Effingham County Sheriff's Office spokesperson says the puppy is in good condition. The puppy was taken to the Effingham County Animal Shelter.
