WILMINGTON, Del. - February 1, 2007 - Wilmington police are trying to crack an armed kidnapping case this noon. One suspect is in custody. The other is still on the loose.
Last Friday night, according to police, two armed men kidnapped a woman along the Delaware Avenue corridor, near Jackson. She was taken to several ATMs and forced to withdraw money.
The gunmen kept the woman with them until a bank branch opened. Then, they withdrew even more money. The woman was eventually released unharmed.
One of the alleged gunmen has been caught. He's identified as 17-year old Hakeem Black.
The other suspect - 21-year-old Steve Harden - has not yet been arrested.
