BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) — Update: Oct. 15 - Antwon Smith has been charged with capital murder and has been denied bond.

The judge and prosecutors agreed Antwon would be a flight risk, pointing to his criminal history that includes nine prior felony convictions out of Florida. Four of those convictions are drug and weapons related, including a time when he was caught trespassing on FBI property in Mobile.

Smith also faces charges in Mobile.

Prosecutors described the double murders in Elberta as "execution style." Both victims were shot four times. Autopsy shows victims had gunshot wounds to the back and the to the back of their heads.

Prosecutors believe the killings took place in Baldwin County.

Antwon Smith is sitting in a jail in Mobile but will soon be extradited to Baldwin County where he's accused of murdering Ryan Frazier and Joshua Carroll. Both are from Seattle, Washington and were in the area installing fiberoptic cable. Investigators say they were shot and killed during a drug deal.

“Mr. Frazier and Mr. Carroll were shot several times and left for dead on the side of County Road 95 in Elberta, Alabama,” said Lt. Andre Reid Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit Commander.

Reid says on Saturday officers from Mobile's 3rd precinct spotted Smith in one of the victim's cars and took him into custody.

“They seized a firearm, a 9mm firearm. They seized drugs. They seized cash and of course, recovered our stolen vehicle. Inside the vehicle was a significant amount of blood, blood stains,” said Reid.

Investigators from Crestview, Florida also announced Smith is a person of interest in the disappearance of Calandra Stallworth.

“We hope with the arrest of Antwon Smith it will spark new information about Calandra’s disappearance,” Sgt. Joshua Grace. “Anyone who may have information, who may have heard something, we are hoping they will come forward now that he's been placed under arrest.”

No one has heard from Stallworth since March 2017 and was last seen with Smith.

Antwon Smith

40-year-old Antwon Montrex Smith’s trial was set to begin Monday. However, late in the afternoon, Smith took a plea deal in exchange for two concurrent life sentences in prison with the possibility of parole, according to his attorney Brant Richerson.

Smith killed Josh Carroll and Ryan Frazier — two men from Seattle who were working in Baldwin County as part of the recovery effort for Hurricane Sally.

The men’s bodies were found on Oct. 9, 2020, by a newspaper delivery person.

Both men had been shot and left in the road on County Road 95 and Fitzpatrick Road.

Richerson told News 5 that the defense team was satisfied with the result of the case.

“I’m glad everyone could get closure,” he said.

were in the area installing fiberoptic cable. Investigators say they were shot and killed during a drug deal.
Being in electrical for decades, knowing the job the 2 were doing has dangerous hazards, including death.
The job they do requires skill & knowledge, even more so in rural and big diameter electrical cables or multi-fibre cabling and hookups. I believe the older man was training an apprentice. People who work rural work in twos, have reason to carry cash, criminals know they carry cash.

I believe the 'drug deal' was increased aggression by seller to make an unwanted deal, victim's refusal of drugs d/t knowing the job hazards while "high" which is covered in Safety classes per OSHA, nor do we know if the 2 were ever known drug users because news does not say, nor do the CYA investigators. I bet not, I don't know anyone White who did drugs or alcohol while working in that line of work. Only a very very few did drugs during off hours.

After the 2 men likely said no to the the freak faced negro, the 2 victims being from Seattle, my knowing the Seattle area & generally but rarely mentioned White mindset about blacks. Those 2 men would have been suspicious of IT, this killing happened in October 2020, everyone was on edge around blacks d/t riots after the St. Groid money laundering and counterfeit printing coverup aka False Flag & hoax.

Negro wanted money, didn't get the deal because they said no, so he decided to execute & rob the 2 men & steal their car.
Who is to say, that a 9 felony & suspect in missing woman & probably very violent black thing like that did or didn't make a deal, wanted a double winner, then killed the 2 to keep drugs/money is actually common in lower level dealers. WIN WIN.

How did Smith get to the job site? County Road 95 in Elberta is rural country. Nothing in the news about the killer's transportation, nor of suspect's car or a stolen car left at the scene.

Was he dropped off by someone else, most of the drug/robbery type of criminals have a partner in crime. Blacks are known to partner up.
I believe a pair or more were driving in a car from one area to another, and saw an opportunity on the way.

The investigators seem to be choosing the easy out story given to news to prevent outrage, imho. Make the 2 White men look like druggies, everyone drops the story because they are now just seen as 2 druggie bad White guys. Victim blaming for shaming by media mouthpieces which just shuts people up like it's meant to do.
THERE'S MORE TO THIS STORY THAN WE'RE BEING TOLD.
