Police Arrest Two Teens, Adult, In Connection With Monday Night Bingo Game Robbery

Police say they have arrested the three robbers who they believe burst into a bingo game Monday night, and terrorized more than a hundred people. But the most shocking thing, police say two of the suspects are just kids.
The robbery happened at the Elks Lodge in Hampon, on Tide Mill Lane. Police say three armed suspects, two males and a female, entered the building during a bingo event and demanded that the 150 patrons drop to the floor. They robbed the business and nine patrons of an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing.
An elderly woman was slightly injured when she fell during the in
cident.
Investigators utilized witness and victim interviews to produce suspect leads. Tuesday evening detectives charged a 16-year old male residing in the 1600 block of Newport News Avenue and 15-year old female residing in the 600 block of Michigan Drive with nine counts of robbery, nine counts of abduction, one count of attempted abduction, and nineteen counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
A third suspect, 23-year old Nishaka Hobbs of the 100 block of Doolittle Road was charged with abduction, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and robbery.
The investigation is ongoing with addition suspects and charges are pendi
ng. Police are withholding the names and photographs of the teenaged suspects because of their ages.
