CBS2 Chicago, 11/12/05: Carjacking Victim Relieved After Suspects Charged

(CBS) CHICAGO A woman who was carjacked in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood and shoved in her trunk may rest a little easier tonight.

Two men are now charged in connection with that crime.

" think I'm beginning to relax and maybe realize it's over, Loretta Wheeler said.

Wheeler reacts to news these two young men, caught on ATM surveillance tape, were in police custody. On Saturday, 17-year-old Demarcus Dunn and 18-year-old Tyree Howard were charged with shoving Wheeler into the trunk of her

own car. Police say the two teens took her to several South Side ATM machines, forcing her to withdraw money
. Filled with fear, Wheeler couldn't remember her PIN number.

When all their attempts failed and the machine took their card, they returned to the vehicle and threatened to kill her, said Cmdr. Patricia Walsh of the Area 1 Detective Division.

For three hours, police say Dunn and Howard drove around the city with Wheeler in the trunk. Her ordeal ended when an officer saw the teens driving the wrong way down a street. The teens parked the car and ran.

As Sgt. Rochowicz approached the vehicle he heard the victim crying from the trunk, Walsh said.

I can't even begin imagine the terror this poor
white woman must have felt, trapped in the trunk of her own car by a pair of laughing nigger "youths", thinking any moment might be her last. Forget thirty years in nigger heaven - in my humble opinion, these two foul niggers deserve only one thing - SUMMARY TRIAL AND SWIFT EXECUTION.

It's too bad that white America just doesn't have the stomach to teach these evil niggers a lesson in civil obedience!!! :angry:

November 12, 2005 - Two teens charged in the carjacking and robbery of a 59-year-old woman appeared in court on Saturday. Both are being held on $1 million bond.

Police have had the two suspects in custody since early Thursday afternoon. However, they waited to formally file charges until late Friday evening. Police reportedly believe they have a strong case.
Loretta Wheeler, the victim in this case, says she identified both men in a lineup Thursday evening, and she had no doubt.

"That w


as the hardest part, seeing them again and knowing what they had done to me. I think that was the hardest
part," said Wheeler.

Wheeler says she will never forget the faces of the two men who held her captive at gunpoint and drove her around for three terrifying while she was tied up in the trunk of her car.

Police say 18-year-old Tyree Howard turned himself in with his grandmother after seeing news reports Thursday. He then gave up his alleged partner, 17-year-old Demarcus Dunn. Both men are charged with aggravated vehicular hijacking, aggravated kidnapping and armed robbery. Dunn's relatives, including his mother, had to be escorted from the building after verbally protesting the teens' bond in court. :pity:

Now, Loretta Wheeler says she can finally relax a little.

"When I don't have to worry about being on the street or them looking at me ever again, for now, and I can sleep at night because really, truly, I haven't had any sleep and last night was the first time I ever slept," Wheeler said
Friday.

The 17-year-old in this case is being charged as an adult. Both men are expected in court Saturday morning. If convicted, they could be facing up to 30 years in prison.

If only there was a fitting punishment for these two evil jigs that would save us the cost of feeding and housing these two dark demons for 30 years: HEY!! Wait a minute!!!! I just thought of a way to punish them and we don't have to support them for 30 years.......... Hmmmmm...... fit for the rope indeed!!!

The County government only needs a 4 x 4 crosstimber to support their necks for about thirty minutes.

Even better, find a tree.

Concerned citizens would surely donate a rope.
