He got ‘picked up’ all right.

A dopey identity thief was arrested by Port Authority police Thursday when he went to the Enterprise rental lot at JFK Airport to retrieve the trove of forged driver’s licenses and credit cards he’d left in one of their cars, the PAPD said.

Carl Black, 33, rented the 2014 Dodge Charger at JFK on Sept. 15 for what was supposed to be one day, but never returned the ride, authorities said.

Cops found the Dodge parked near Black’s home on East 161st Street in The Bronx on Oct. 2, and towed it back to Enterprise.

While workers at the lot were performing a routine cleaning of the car, they discovered a bag filled with twelve blank Discover cards, another dozen credit cards, each with unique names, and eight driver’s licenses — two of which had Black’s photo but with different names and states, the PAPD said.

When Black realized the Dodge was gone — along with the proof of his many alter egos — he repeatedly called Enterprise demanding the bag he’d left in the car.

Enterprise alerted the PAPD, then told Black he could pick up his property at JFK on Thursday.

Black showed up at the lot around 3 p.m. and was greeted by two ‘Enterprise workers’ with their own identity secret: they were actually Port Authority detectives.

Once Black signed documents admitting to renting the car and claiming ownership of the bag, the detectives revealed themselves and took him into custody, according to the PAPD.

In his wallet, the detectives found even more evidence of Black’s identity crisis: three more phony credit cards and another four driver’s licenses, including the one naming him as “Bruce Gibbs” that he’d used to rent the Dodge, authorities said.

Black also had the keys to the car in his pocket. :p

He was hit with a slew of charges including criminal possession of a forged instrument, identity theft, criminal impersonation, and grand larceny.
