The LAPD received a call about the large party on Mulholland Drive, near Franklin Canyon Park, about 7:30 p.m. Monday, according to the LA Times.

A man who said he was working security for the party said it was being thrown for an unidentified NFL player, CBS Los Angeles reported.

“We have money. We are people. This COVID, I mean, is just pushing us out everywhere, and we have nothing, so the only thing we do have is Airbnbs to rent swimming pools for our kids, to do big things and things of that nature,” security manager Kennie Leggett said.

The company that manages the rental property said that it had advised the renters that the party was a serious breach of the rental agreement and asked them to vacate the property immediately, CBS Los Angeles reported.

CBS LA correspondent Brittney Hopper reported that she was told by a guard that the party was being thrown for an NFL player.

“We don’t know which player, we don’t know which team,” said Hopper, who described buses arriving with “hundreds of people.”

One of the revelers said that “a bunch of gangsters came in and robbed everybody and started shooting, The Sun reported.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- One person was killed and three were injured after a shooting near a massive house party in Los Angeles where there was little social distancing and even fewer masks.

Just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, crews responded to a reported shooting near Mulholland Drive in the Beverly Crest neighborhood where three victims were found, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One victim was in grave condition and later died. Two victims are in stable condition. All three were transported to a hospital, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A fourth person suffered a wrist injury while fleeing the scene, fire officials said.

The Los Angeles Police Department showed up at the mansion gates earlier on Monday evening but the huge party just kept on going.

AIR 7 found several hundred people and several dozen cars in the long driveway.

There was a food truck in the driveway and a DJ by the swimming pool.

The LAPD told ABC7 there was nothing they could do earlier because the partygoers weren't breaking any laws, and they're not enforcing health code violations.

Family mourns mother killed in Mulholland Drive mansion party shooting
UPDATED: August 5, 2020 at 3:27 p.m.

LOS ANGELES — Authorities Wednesday morning sought the persons responsible for a gang-related shooting at a large party taking place at a mansion in Beverly Crest north of Beverly Hills that killed a 35-year-old mother of three and left two other people hospitalized.

Police responded to the 13200 block of Mulholland Drive about 12:45 a.m. Monday and found three victims struck by gunfire, Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Chris Ramirez told reporters Tuesday.

The victims were taken to a hospital, one in grave condition, the other two in critical condition, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The woman who died at a hospital was identified by NBC4 as Brandi Parham.

Her daughter, Paige Atkins, told the station through tears she hopes whoever shot her mom “goes to jail for what they did, because now I can’t see my mom anymore.”

Brandi was shot and killed on Tuesday in Beverly Hills.

According to reports police arrived at the scene of a shooting at a large mansion party on Tuesday night in
Beverly Hills, California and found 3 people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Brandi was taken to the hospital but sadly she passed away from her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The other 2 victims were also taken to the hospital and were listed in critical condition at the time of the article.

Authorities stated that the shooting was gang related but Brandi was NOT a part of any gang activity and that was an innocent bystander.

Investigators stated that they're collecting footage from the party to see, if images of the shooter or shooters can be detected on video.

Brandi's Daughter is quoted saying
"She hopes whoever killed her Mother goes to jail for what they did bc now I can't see my Mom anymore"

No arrest had been made at the time of the article.

Brandi's life was violently taken from her due to gun violence.
