Crimestoppers Tip Leads To Murder Arrest

NEW ORLEANS -- An anonymous tip to Crimestoppers led to the arrest Friday of a murder suspect.
Dave McGee, 24, is accused in the May 9 shooting death of John Pilot, 30, at the corner of Fourth and Danneel streets.
According to investigators, neighbors reported hearing gunshots at about 11 p.
. When 6th District officers arrived at the scene, they found Pilot on the sidewalk with an apparent gunshot wound to the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

McGee was booked at Central Lo
ck Up on one count of second-degree murder.
