"Hiding his neck, it's weird." Macron's wife no longer makes excuses for her gender

MOSCOW, February 7 – RIA Novosti. American journalist and blogger Candice Owens has published a new part of the investigation into the wife of the French president. The author cited new evidence that Brigitte Macron was born a man, assumed the identity of her own sister and changed her gender, after which she became the first lady of France.

This time, the facts are so serious that the Elysee Palace took a break and stopped commenting on the topic altogether.

Who is Candice Owens?

Candice Owens was born on April 29, 1989 in Stamford, Connecticut. Besides her, three other children were raised in the family. Already at school, Candice found herself in the midst of a big scandal: classmates sent her voice messages with racial insults and death threats. Among the authors was the son of the then mayor and future Democratic governor, Dannel Malloy. Candice's family sued the city's board of education, accusing the institution of failing to protect the girl's rights. The council paid the victim $37,500.

After high school, Owens earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Rhode Island. She worked for the women's magazine Vogue.

Since 2019, she has hosted the Candace Owens Hour show on PragerU's YouTube channel, and since 2021, she has produced weekly broadcasts on the conservative Daily Wire platform. Among the guests are well-known Republican politicians, as well as their supporters: current President Donald Trump, head of the UFC Dana White, Congressman Jim Jordan.

Now the journalist runs a YouTube channel that has an army of millions of subscribers.

Political views.

Candice Owens supports Donald Trump, whom she calls the "savior" of Western civilization. And Black Lives Matter describes the African American movement as nothing more than a "group of whiny kids" who are trying to attract attention to themselves.

Candice Owens

She opposes abortion and criticizes modern feminism.

He is a member of the National Rifle Association and defends the rights of citizens to keep and carry weapons.

He is critical of Muslim emigration to Europe, suggesting that in the future Americans will have to save the British from the Muslim threat.

"Zelensky is a homosexual"

Speaking about Russia, the journalist emphasizes that she respects its right to sovereignty. In the summer of 2024, she harshly criticized Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on her channel.:

Vladimir Zelensky

"For me, Zelensky is just another homosexual leader in black latex, dancing in high heels, like in the Single Ladies video. Another actor who was put in a position to play a role. Yes, that's exactly how I perceive many of these presidents: they are actors who are trained to be leaders. That's exactly why I reproached Zelensky for constantly wearing military clothes. Obviously, he's just playing a role."

"Brave Tucker"

She supported Tucker Carlson after the sensational interview with Vladimir Putin, which the journalist took in February 2024.

She called the journalist's trip to Moscow a wise and brave decision.

Is the first lady a man?

The first person to call Brigitte Macron transgender was French journalist Natalia Ray. Faced with unprecedented pressure from the French authorities after the scandalous publications, Ray decided to ask Russia for political asylum.

Owens continued Ray's case. In early February, the American released the first part of the investigation and promises to publish the second soon. Meanwhile, the Macron couple's lawyers are threatening to take her to court, and the journalist's personal website is being attacked by hackers.

French President Emmanuel Macron with his wife Brigitte

Owens notes that the French leader and his wife "definitely don't look like a couple with nothing to hide." Despite the increased interest in the president's family – due to the huge age difference - she leads a closed lifestyle. And all the information that gets into the media is carefully controlled by PR people. But sometimes something leaks into the information space against their will.

So, in 2018, Closer magazine reported that Brigitte visited an American hospital in Paris. The note provoked a "disproportionately harsh" reaction from the first lady. Back then, some journalists found it suspicious. According to the official version, Madame Macron had cosmetic surgery. Owens found out that the president's wife was apparently treated by surgeon Patrick Buie, a well–known specialist in "feminizing plastic surgery" who often provides services to transgender people.

Another suspicious point: in their letters to Owens, the Macrons' lawyers did not give an answer to her direct question about whether Brigitte is transgender. Instead, the conversation was diverted to other topics.

Inconsistencies in the official biography

In 2016, France launched a media company to promote Brigitte. Several biographies have been published. The corners were carefully smoothed out. At first, the public was lied to that the difference between the spouses was "only" 17 years. Because Brigitte was 36 at the time of their acquaintance, not 39. Allegedly, many students at school were in love with her, but only Macron managed to "win her heart."

Letter from Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron's lawyers

"If she's such a 'hot teacher,' who, as biographers write, 'sported miniskirts at parties,' then why aren't there any photos of her from that period?" asks Owens in the second part of the investigation.

The earliest photograph in the "official" biography dates back to 1993. Owens draws attention to the discrepancy: Emmanuel and Brigitte met when the boy was 14 years old, that is, in 1991.

The caption under the photo is also interesting: "40-year-old Brigitte Ozier (last name before marriage to Macron - editor's note). Married, three children. She is highly appreciated at school. And she's going to have a truly fateful meeting."

Justin and Hailey Bieber met with Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron

At the same time, the journalist draws attention to a simple fact: there are no publicly available photos of Brigitte with her three children.

A strange detail in the photo

The fact is that there are no childhood photos of Brigitte Macron in it, as well as photos as a young mother.

Owens also called for a close look at the photos of "supposedly young Brigitte" taken in the 1990s.

"In many of the published photos, she surprisingly wears a scarf. Why does she always cover her neck? It seems strange. I'm going to enlarge a few photos now. ...Now, it's obvious that it's not her. The "official" photos show a completely different person," the journalist says.

Anyway, the American promised a new batch of "sensational evidence." So far, only the second part has been released.

Macron's Elysee mad house: French president wears 'industrial amounts' of cologne and uses 'ugly' sunglasses to mock guests while 'asserting his dominance', bombshell book claims

Emmanuel Macron wears 'industrial amounts' of cologne and has a box of 'ugly' sunglasses which he uses to mock his aides, according to a bombshell new book.

One extract reveals how, in what is considered a bizarre power play, the French president sprays on so much Dior Eau Savage that his staff can smell him before he enters a room.

Another claims Mr Macron insists on keeping a box of sunglasses 'each uglier than the last' to be given to guests when they forget their own, in an apparent attempt to further assert his dominance.

The Tragedy of the Elysée, by Le Parisien journalist Olivier Beaumont, says Mr Macron applies the £104 cologne 'at all hours of the day' and always has a bottle on hand, reports The Telegraph.

The book reads: 'Less-accustomed visitors may find themselves overcome by the floral and musky scent, as refined as it is powerful. It is a sign of one thing: that the president is in the building.'

It continues: 'Just as Louis XIV made his perfumes an attribute of power when he paraded through the galleries of Versailles, Emmanuel Macron uses his as an element of his authority at the Elysée.'

A former aide quoted in the book said: 'When Emmanuel Macron enters the room, you can feel it.'

The aide described it as a way of asserting his authority 'almost like marking his territory.'

Dior is part of Bernard Arnault’s LVMH empire. He is France and Europe’s richest person and is seen as close to President Macron.

Mr Macron's wife, Brigitte, wears Louis Vuitton, also an Arnault brand.

The book notes that Brigitte will spray herself with her husband's perfume 'to have the feeling that her man is not very far away'.

In another extract, it transpires Mr Macron also insists upon aides keeping a box of dark glasses to be given to people he quizzes in the Elysée garden when the sun is out in case they have forgotten to bring their own pair.

He has a case 'containing about 20 pairs of second-hand glasses, of all shapes, not really fashionable, some with crooked arms, others with red rims, "even a little ridiculous", from which you have to choose in order to be allowed to stay.'

The book cites one minister as saying he believes this is one of Mr Macron's power plays.

Macron's PR drive is not centred around overt aggression and sporting prowess. It takes a more subtle tack, seeking to portray the Head of State as the complete package - a man other men want to be, and women want to be with. Pictured: Macron pets a dog as he sits at his desk in the Elysee Palace

'Clearly, it's not meant to make us look good. I even wonder if, deep down, he doesn't get a kick out of seeing us with these things. We look so stupid,' the minister said.

He explained: 'Once you've borrowed one of these pairs, you don't want to forget to bring your own.'

Last year Mr Macron's personal photographer Soazing de la Moissonnière caused quite a stir in France when she released two images depicting the French President pounding a punchbag.

With his face a picture of steely resolve as chiselled biceps rippled from beneath his shirt, the black-and-white shots of Macron were received as a display of 'ultimate virility' according to French newspaper Nice-Matin.

Many posited that the projection of machismo and strength comes as part of a PR offensive as the French President takes a harder stance on the Russia-Ukraine war, with Macron having paused longstanding efforts to maintain a closer bond with his counterpart in Moscow Vladimir Putin.

But in reality, Macron's pugilistic photo-op is just the latest in a years-long campaign of staged shoots designed to portray the Elysee Palace chief as a dashing, capable and admirable representative of France and her interests.

It's a self-aggrandising PR play that appears to have been ripped directly from the playbook of Putin himself - perhaps the world leader most adept at deploying the power of persona to cultivate domestic support - with a few added tweaks.

Now, MailOnline takes a look at some of Macron's most narcissistic snaps, distributed by his personal lenswoman and army of press officers, and how they're harnessed to cultivate his image in the eyes of the French public.

The Russian President has for more than two decades harnessed the influence of his state-controlled media empire to create a personality cult, displaying himself as a fit and strong man-in-charge.

Images of Judo black-belt Putin effortlessly tossing martial arts experts over his shoulder, galloping bare-chested on horseback and plunging stone-faced into icy lakes were routinely plastered on billboards and beamed into the living rooms of every Russian citizen.

But Macron's PR drive is not centred around overt aggression and sporting prowess.

It takes a more subtle tack, seeking to portray the Head of State as the complete package - a man other men want to be, and women want to be with.

Unlike Putin's serious, stonefaced photoshoots, the official images of Macron by de la Moissonnière are more tasteful.

They capture the French leader's looks, confidence and charm as much as his masculinity and physical capabilities.

From pictures of the President flashing a winning smile as he lounged on a mustard colour sofa with a crisp, unbuttoned shirt revealing his hairy chest, to the notorious portrait of Macron wearing a Zelensky-style hoody as he strode into the Golden Room of the Elysee Palace in the early days of the Ukraine war - many of the snaps seek to display him as a man of versatility and character, rather than a hard-nosed, no-nonsense statesman.

His photographic oeuvre reads like a catalogue of calculated nonchalance, with each image serving a dual purpose: to humanise the politician and to project an aura of charisma.

French PM Accuses Trump of ‘Interference’ on Le Pen

US President Donald Trump’s public support for Marine Le Pen is tantamount to meddling in France’s domestic politics, French Prime Minister Francois Bayou has said.

Le Pen, the former leader of the right-wing National Rally party and three-time presidential candidate, received a prison sentence for embezzlement earlier this week.

In a post on Truth Social on Thursday, Trump labeled Le Pen a victim of a “witch hunt” and claimed that she had been prosecuted for her political beliefs. “FREE MARINE LE PEN!” he wrote.

During an interview with Le Parisien magazine published on Saturday, Bayrou was asked if he believed Trump’s words constituted interference in French domestic affairs.

“Yes, and interference has become the law of the world,” the prime minister replied.

“There are no longer any borders for major political debates. What happens at home is relayed to Washington. And we are rightly moved by what is happening in Türkiye, for example,” Bayrou added, referring to the ongoing anti-government protests in Istanbul and other major Turkish cities.

“For three-quarters of a century … we have believed that our conception of democracy and the rule of law would irresistibly impose itself everywhere on the planet. The alliance around the United States was just that: the alliance of freedoms,” Bayrou said.

Asked whether it was “no longer true,” Beyrou said, “We are suddenly discovering that the world has changed.”

“On several continents, some are trying to create an illiberal international of indecency, which has decided that human rights, the rule of law, and democratic understanding between nations should be a thing of the past,”
he argued.

On Monday, a Paris court sentenced Le Pen to four years in prison, of which two are suspended, and the other two will be served under a form of house arrest. She was also handed a five-year ban on holding political office, which effectively disqualifies her from the 2027 presidential race.

According to the prosecutors, the veteran politician used the EU funds intended to cover the work of aides in the European Parliament to pay for staffers in France. She denied any wrongdoing and has promised to appeal the verdict.

What was Marine Le Pen found "guilty" of?

by Thierry Meyssan

To bar Marine Le Pen from running for the French presidency, a court of first instance convicted her of "misappropriation of public funds," not the other way around. It wasn’t the offense she was charged with that led to her being stripped of her right to be ineligible, but it was invented to justify this sentence.
Strangely, no one in the political class saw fit to point out that the Presidency of the European Parliament has changed its conception of the role of MEPs and now considers those who persist in practicing their original role as MEPs to be criminals.

A guest on TF1’s 8 p.m. news, Marine Le Pen once again pleaded not to have committed a crime, but the journalist didn’t understand what she was talking about.

Marine Le Pen was sentenced on March 31, 2025, for "embezzlement of public funds" to four years’ imprisonment, two of which were suspended, a €100,000 fine, and five years of ineligibility with provisional execution, that is, even before any possible appeal. Twenty-four other officials of the National Rally and the party itself were sentenced.

The French political class was immediately divided between those who welcomed the presidential favorite’s elimination from the race and those who deplored it. Naturally, no one dared to speak out directly, but all affirmed that they supported "the rule of law" or denounced the "tyranny of judges."

Behind this reaction to a historic decision by three judges independent of political power, but who clearly understood the prosecution’s demands, no one dares to address the underlying issue of the dispute between France and the presidency of the European Parliament. The facts being prosecuted all predate 2015. Yet, it is impossible to understand why the elected members of the National Rally were convicted, even though they were convinced they had not violated the law, without being aware of this dispute. Here is the explanation:

At the end of the Second World War, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill developed a plan to pacify European differences through the creation of common institutions between states. This was not yet a European Union, but rather a body allowing European governments to meet and negotiate on a permanent basis, or an organization bringing together parliamentarians from European states to debate together. Ultimately, ten states merged the two projects and created the Council of Europe. Today, there are 46 of them. The headquarters of this political institution was established in Strasbourg.

In practice, the Council of Europe was conceived as the civilian component of NATO. Strasbourg was chosen as its headquarters because it is, culturally, a Franco-German city.

Independently of the Council of Europe, another project, this time an economic one, was born with the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC), which became the European Economic Community and today, the European Union. Naturally, the seat of the European Parliament was also located in Strasbourg, which housed the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. However, given the rivalries between member states, various institutions of this economic union were located in Brussels and Luxembourg (the Parliament’s General Secretariat is located in the Robert Schumann building). MEPs came to Strasbourg for one week a month and then returned to their countries. Since they were elected not in their own name, but in the name of their party, in a single national constituency (except between 2003 and 2018, when there were eight regional constituencies), they devoted the rest of their time to their political training.

In 1993, the European Parliament acquired a chamber in Brussels, the Paul-Henri Spaak building. Six years later, it opened its own chamber in Strasbourg, the Louise Weiss building. At that time, parliamentary sessions were split between the two cities. A gigantic caravan of trucks moved all the parliamentarians’ offices twice a month. Now with a private office in Brussels, the European parliamentarians were invited to reside there and only travel to Strasbourg for sessions held there. They returned to their countries only to meet their constituents and for party meetings.—

The administration of the European Economic Community, which is primarily based in Brussels, intended both to distance itself from the Council of Europe and to move closer to the European Parliament. It therefore did everything it could to ensure that the latter stopped its back-and-forth operations and sat permanently in Brussels. This was also the wish of NATO, whose main offices were also in Brussels (or more precisely, in Mons). NATO issued the standards that the Commission proposed to the Parliament, which it approved. However, over time, the Parliament played an increasingly independent role, and NATO needed to constantly monitor it to ensure that none of its standards were overruled.

This was when the dispute began: the French refused to leave Strasbourg so as not to fall too visibly under the influence of the Anglo-Saxons. The Presidency of the Parliament therefore demanded that, from now on, elected representatives devote themselves exclusively to their activities in Brussels and no longer concern themselves with their parties in their countries.

To download the verdict, click on the illustration.
Since then, all French political parties committed to their country’s independence—not just the National Rally—have been at odds with the presidency of the European Parliament. The court that convicted Marine Le Pen therefore chose the EP presidency’s theory, while the National Rally insisted that not a single cent of public money had been misappropriated and on having acted like many other political parties.

During her trial, Marine Le Pen chose to defend herself by arguing that she had no choice, that she was forced to choose the old concept of the work of MEPs over the new one, because her colleagues refused to allow her to be a full-fledged MEP (the "cordon sanitaire" policy). Since she had no place in Brussels, she chose to do so in her own country.

"This system of defense constitutes, according to the court, a theoretical construct that disregards
the rules of the European Parliament, the laws of the Republic, and the court decisions
rendered, in particular, during the current judicial investigation, by focusing only on
its own principles," the magistrates wrote.

It is important to understand that there are no rules for the European Parliament; the only reference text is the Consolidated Treaty of the EU, which still sets the seat of the European Parliament in Strasbourg and not in Brussels.—

It is important to understand that the only reference text, the Consolidated Treaty of the EU, still sets the seat of the European Parliament in Strasbourg and not in Brussels. The position of the French MEPs is therefore the only one consistent with the texts. On the merits, the judges did not rule in law, and, regarding the presidential favorite, they could not take interim measures because Marine Le Pen is no longer an MEP and therefore cannot "repeat the offense," according to their interpretation of the facts.

By convicting Marine Le Pen, the court not only deprived her of her right to run for president, it also deprived French elected officials of the right to challenge Parliament’s subjugation to NATO.
