New York Jets defensive lineman Quinnen Williams was arrested Thursday night for allegedly possessing a gun at LaGuardia Airport, according to Port Authority officials.

Williams, 22, was about to catch a plane out of town when he was arrested at 9:15 p.m. for criminal possession of a weapon, an authority spokesperson said.

Williams, who was drafted No. 3 overall by the Jets in 2019, had a permit for the weapon, but it was licensed in Alabama, the spokesperson said. Under New York law, it is generally only legal to carry a concealed weapon in the state if it has a New York license.

It is unclear if Williams is being accused of trying to take the gun on the plane.

Neither the Jets nor Williams’ agent, Nicole Lynn, immediately responded to requests for comment.

Lynn, an agent for Young Money APAA Sports, tweeted earlier Thursday that more than half of the players represented by the agency were heading to Mexico for an event together. It was not immediately clear if Williams was en route to the event.

New York Jets defensive lineman Quinnen Williams took a plea deal Monday in Queens Criminal Court in connection to his arrest for possessing a gun at LaGuardia Airport, officials said.

Williams, 22, copped to disorderly conduct — which is a violation and not a crime — after he was arraigned on one count each of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm, according to a spokesperson for the Queens District Attorney’s Office. The arrest charges were dropped as part of the deal, and Williams, wearing a Jets facemask, also agreed to forfeit his Glock 19 and pay a $250 fine, the spokesperson said.

He was busted March 5 for trying to board a flight with the pistol for which he has a permit in Alabama — but not in New York. At the Delta check-in counter, he told the agent that he had the unloaded firearm.

Police charged him and issued a desk appearance ticket ordering him to return to court at later date.

Williams’ lawyer told The Post that he’s satisfied with the disposition.

“As we said from the outset, this matter has been resolved with no criminal charges,” attorney Alex Spiro said. “This case was nothing more than a technical issue with the storing of a firearm.”

It is only legal to carry a concealed weapon in the state with a New York license.

The 6-foot-3, 303-pound Williams was drafted No. 3 overall by the Jets in 2019 from the University of Alabama.
