Aberdeen, Scotland has banned The National Front from staging a parade in honor of Saint Andrew, but leader Dave MacDonald declares that his organization will maintain a "presence," nonetheless. The ban comes just as Kyle Chapman, head of The National Front in New Zealand, broke an identical ban to hold a spectacular rally at the Parliament Building in Wellington. The Nationalist Movement is awaiting a ruling from a federal judge in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to lift a ban imposed by Mayor John Brenner of York. MacDonald, a Skinhead, appeared before the Aberdeen Council in traditional Skinhead attire, consisting of bomber-j
acket and boots. He stated that Nationalists would go on a "Christmas-sh
opping" procession, on the same day planned for the march, November 28, 2004, without sanction of officials. Local soccer fans, a mainstay of rightist activity, had announced that they would march with MacDonald down Union Street.
