Two men were shot outside an entrance to Mall St. Vincent in Shreveport Friday night. Shreveport police say the suspect, Zosia Myles, 27, of Shreveport is accused of shooting her boyfriend, 29-year-old Brian "Scoob" Garner of Shreveport, in the arm and chest and also wounding a mall customer. Investigators say Myles and Garner were having a disagreement about him [sic] not watching their children. An officer told KSLA NEWS 12 police seized a purse from Myles that contained a handgun believed to be used in the shooting.
The mall customer, John Crow, 43 of Shreveport, was shot as he was exi
ting the mall. Crow suffered a gunshot wound to his right arm. Both victims
were transported to LSU Hospital in Shreveport. Crow was treated and released. A nursing supervisor said, as of 9:20pm Friday, Garner remained in surgery. The supervisor said he could not provide a condition on Garner until the surgery is over.
Workers inside Mastercuts, a hair salon just inside the entrance where the shootings happened, heard multiple gunshots around 6:30pm. "I heard the shots and told everyone to hit the floor," said Jimmy Brandon, a Mastercuts hair stylist. "I saw fire coming from the gun and saw the man who was shot fall down," Brandon said. "His head was pressing against the entrance door to the mall."
Myles was arrested at the mall shortly after running away from the scene, police said. She was charged with attempted first degree murder.

For those of you at home watching, shooting somebody over 'not watchi
ng children' isn't really a motive. Motives for murder are robbery, jealously, infidelity, etc.. Shooting somebody over 'not watching children' is TNB, which in and of itself is a motive, but not generally used in court to get a conviction.
