Ex-Dolphin Gadsden arrested for DUI

Former Dolphins wide receiver Oronde Gadsden was arrested early Monday morning for driving under the influence, for violation of a traffic control device and on two outstanding warrants for driving on a suspended license.
Gadsden was pulled over at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Pines Blvd. in Pembroke Pines. He was pulled over in a 2003 Black Infinity SUV after police observed him swerving out of his lane and running over lane markers.
Based upon investiga
ors observations and a roadside sobriety test, Gadsden was placed under arrest. He refused to submit to sobriety testing at the Breath Alcohol Testing Facility and was booked into Broward County Jail.

dsden, 32, who played in six games for
the Dolphins last season, is not expected to re-sign with the team after playing for Miami the past six years. Gadsden, who is unsigned, said last week he has not spoken with the Dolphins this offseason and has received interest from San Francisco and Baltimore recently.
