Robber uses Mace on store employee
Police are looking for a man who robbed a city convenience store and used Mace on one of its employees Wednesday night.
Montgomery police Lt. Huey Thornton said it was around 11:35 p.m. when a man entered the Stop N Go at 3804 S. Court St. armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect, described as a 5-foot-7-inch black man wearing dark clothes, stole an undetermined amount of money and fled.
As he ran through the parking lot, Thornton said, the robber pulled out a can of chemical spray and sprayed an employee who was sweeping
the parking lot. The employee had minor injuries.
