Police are working to confirm the identity of a body they found near the car of an abducted Fredericksburg delivery man.

Fredericksburg police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe said police found the body in a remote area of Sussex County. She says the body was located not far from 24-year-old Yong Hui Zhang's car.

Police say Zhang has been missing since he was apparently ambushed behind an apartment building Thursday night, while delivering food. H
is parents called police when he didn't return to their restaurant, China Express, by closing time.

Bledsoe says it may take up to two days before the identity is confirmed, because the body has signs of trauma.

On Saturday, police arrested 34-year-old Jermaine Montgomery and his girlfriend, 36-year-old Marcey White at a Wal-Mart in Franklin, Va., where they allegedly used Zhang's credit card. They face abduction, carjacking and credit card theft charges.

STAFFORD — Jermaine Montgomery was sentenced this week to three life sentences for the murder of Chinese-food delivery driver Yong Hui Zhang.
Montgomery, 35, was sentenced June 29 in Spotsylvania County Circuit Court after pleading guilty to charges of capital murder with robbery, abduction with intent to extort, and robbery, with the terms each carrying a sentence time of 99 years.
A jury trial for Montgomery was originally set to begin Aug. 31, prior to the plea.

Zhang, 24, went missing the night of July 3, 2008 after delivering Chinese food for his parents’ Fredericksburg restaurant, China Express. Police say Montgomery and his girlfriend Marcey White called the restaurant for an order so that they could rob the delivery driver.
After Zhang went missing, he was later found stabbed to death. Montgomery and White were soon accused of abducting Zhang and stealing his credit card.
Montgomery was later charged in Zhang’s death.

STAFFORD — An accomplice in a Fredericksburg slaying has been sentenced to 60 years in prison.

Marcey O. White was sentenced Sept. 25 in Fredericksburg Circuit Court for her involvement in the death of China Express deliveryman Yong Hui Zhang.

Zhang, 24, was killed in July 2008 when he went to deliver Chinese food for his family’s Fredericksburg restaurant. Police say White and her boyfriend Jermaine Montgomery, lured Zhang to an area by way of a false Chinese food order with the intention of robbing him. Zhang was robbed of his credit card, killed with a knife and left in Sussex County.

In Oct. 2008, White pleaded guilty in Fredericksburg Circuit Court to charges including abduction, carjacking and credit card theft.

Montgomery was sentenced in June in Spotsylvania and is serving three life sentences for the crimes.
