Flint --(06/10/05)-- Police are investigating an deadly shooting in a parking lot next door to a nightclub.
It happened around two o'clock this morning.
We learned of the shooting when our overnight producer got an hysterical, anonymous phone call from someone claiming to have just witnessed a shooting.
It happened on Dort Highway, in a the parking lot of a business next door to the Crusin' Nightclub.
Police say 37-year-old Ali Garrison, of Flint, was sitting in a Cadillac when he was hit by several bullets from an assault rifle.
A number of bullet casings could be seen on the ground after the 2 a.m. attack.
Garrison was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooter sped off southbound on Dort.
Police are still looking for the shooter.
