A RAPIST found naked in his bed after violently attacking a woman has been jailed for eight years.
He faces deportation back to Pakistan on his release for overstaying his visa limit.
Mohammed Sajid picked up the prostitute in Manchester city centre and took her back to his flat in Oxford Place, Rusholme last March.
But he beat her up and raped her after she refused him sex over a row over her fee, Manchester crown court heard.
Sajid, 27, who was found guilty of rape and assault at a trial last month, still maintains his innocence.
Defending, Stella Massey, said Sajid was a very lonely and isolated binge drinker at the time of the attack and feels a 'great deal of shame' over the court case.
Sentencing, Judge Andrew Blake said: "I have seen the photographs of the injuries she suffered and they are considerable."
Sajid was ordered to sign the sex offenders' register for life.
