HUNTINGDON CO, Pa (WJAC) — State police say a Philadelphia man has been arrested and charged with attempted homicide in connection to the "vicious" attack of an elderly Huntingdon County woman last month, according to a criminal complaint.

Troopers say 31-year-old Derrick Harrison faces charges of attempted homicide, attempted murder, burglary, robbery, theft and aggravated assault in connection to the attack on June 20th.
Investigators say Harrison broke into the home of an 86-year-old woman along Fannettsburg Pike in Shade Gap.
Police say Harrison "viciously beat" the woman, robbed her and stole her car.
