Five Crimes Reported In Nine Days
Five robberies in the last nine days have New Albany police asking for your help.

The crimes all involve robbers with a similar description, WLKY NewsChannel 32's Allison Gardner reported Thursday.

On each occasion, the robbers had a gun, or indicated they had one, according to police.

The most recent robberies took place Wednesday, Gardner reported.

Investigators said the string of crimes likely started on May 11 at the Swift Gas

Detectives said they think criminals took a break, then robbed the Litt

iger Food Mart on Charlestown Road on May 18. And on May 19, o
ne robbery was reported at a residence, then another at Dock Seafood Restaurant on State Street, Gardner reported.

All of the robbers reportedly are black men in their mid-20s or early-30s, police said. According to witnesses, the men are either 5 feet 7 or 5 feet 8 inches tall, though another witness estimated that one was 5 feet 11 inches tall.

In Wednesday's crimes, one of the robbers was wearing a bandana, Gardner reported.
