State police are investigating a report of a rape Sunday morning at a Chester County treatment center for sexually abusive boys.

According to police, a 14-year-old resident of the facility, the Pennsylvania Clinical Schools in West Bradford Township, attacked a 15-year-old resident between 6 and 7 a.m.

The youth was taken to Chester County Hospital, where he was treated and released, according to police.<b

Don Wert, interim administrator of the school since June, said the youths normally are getting up and getting ready for breakfast during that hour. He would not say where the alleged attack occurred.<b

immediately made a report to state police at Embreeville, located within the same complex of buildings.

He said he could not comment further because the alleged attack was under investigation.

The alleged assault was the third in the last 18 months at the school.

The school has a population of about 105 male residents, mostly ages 14 to 17, he said. Some have been sent to the school by court orders, and all "share a history of sexual aggression," he said.

He said that "every area in which the children live and have activities is supervised at all times."
