Sitter Accused of Beating Boy

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA-June 14, 2005 ”” A young boy remains hospitalized this morning. The man accused of putting him there, is under arrest.

Police tell Action News that a woman brought her three-year old son to the Engine 24 firehouse at 20th and Federal Monday. He was suffering from burns and bruises.

He was rushed to Children's Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Twenty-five-year-old Victor Roadcloud is behind bars this morning, charged with aggravated assault, and related offenses. Police say he was babysitting the child, when the boy was injured.

Roadcloud reportedly says he beat the boy, after h
e misbehaved.
