Isaiah Wilson, the Titans’ offensive tackle from Brooklyn, was willing to do anything to evade Tennessee State campus police – even considering jumping from a second-story balcony.

The rookie first-round pick was caught and received a trespass warning, Paul Kuharsky reported, after attending a party on Aug. 15 at an off-campus apartment at a time when NFL players are supposed to be careful to avoid contracting COVID-19. According to a police report, he nearly jumped from a balcony to evade cops, but thought better of it.

“We’re aware of the situation at TSU during a no-visitors policy and continue to stress the importance of good decision making as we go outside the facility,” Titans coach Mike Vrabel told reporters.

“We’ve handled it internally,” general manager Jon Robinson added.

Seahawks rookie Kemah Siverand, who went undrafted, was cut for trying to bring a woman into the Seattle team hotel. But he wasn’t a first-round pick like Wilson.

It’s unclear if Wilson violated the NFL-NFLPA rules against players attending house parties with more than 15 people because the number of people at this gathering is still unknown.

Wilson, a hulking offensive lineman out of Georgia, became just the second New York City native to be drafted in the first round in the past 34 years last April — joining Staten Island’s Dominique Easley, who was taken by the Patriots with the 29th-overall pick in 2014.

Easley has been out of the league since 2018.
