Ex-President Joe Biden’s reliance on an autopen is under scrutiny, with many suggesting he may not have been mentally aware of the orders he signed, raising questions about their validity and potential nullification.
The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project explained on social media they looked at every signature throughout Biden’s presidency, noting they “All used the same autopen signature except for the announcement that the former President was dropping out of the race last year.” (emphasis ours)

“WHOEVER CONTROLLED THE AUTOPEN CONTROLLED THE PRESIDENCY,” warned the Oversight Project on X.
The organization argued discovering the staffers who ran the autopen machine is essential to an investigation of Biden’s mental acuity.
“For investigators to determine whether then-President Biden actually ordered the signature of relevant legal documents, or if he even had the mental capacity to, they must first determine who controlled the autopen and what checks there were in place,” the Oversight Project wrote.
The watchdog group evidenced Biden’s cognitive decline with a video showing House Speaker Mike Johnson recalling a conversation he had with the former president where he did not appear to be aware of something he’d signed earlier in the week.
The Oversight Project’s revelations come as Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey earlier this week asked the DOJ to investigate the “Legality of presidential actions in light of President Biden’s mental decline.”
“I write to request that you conduct a full investigation into President Biden’s mental capacity in his final days in office,” Bailey wrote in a letter to US Inspector General Michael Horowitz.
“By now, Biden’s mental decline is famous. Under the 25th Amendment, his inability to make decisions should have meant a succession of power. Instead, it appears staffers and officers in the Biden administration may have exploited Biden’s incapacity so they could issue orders without an accountable President of sound mind approving them.”
“If in fact Biden’s staffers were exploiting his mental decline, those orders are null and void,” Bailey wrote, adding, “The States need to know because those orders affect us.”
“I thus ask you to launch an investigation… to determine which of Biden’s purported orders were knowingly issued by a competent President and which were not.”
Bailey’s letter continued: “Who has been running the country for the last few years? I fear that Mr. Biden, while he held the office of President, did so in name only and was a mere puppet for far-left, unelected staffers. The people deserve to know the truth.
“I call on you to investigate whether it was Biden or others who took executive actions. If it was not Biden, then the people should know that whatever actions he took were void.”
If the Inspector General finds wrongdoing, he could refer individuals in the Biden administration for judicial review and criminal prosecution, and Biden’s presidential actions could be thrown into disarray.

Biden Autopen Use Increased As Cognitive Decline Deepened, Analysis Finds

The Oversight Project has released a disturbing new findings showing an apparent correlation between the increased use of autopen signatures and Joe Biden’s worsening mental decline.
The group previously found that two different autopens were used, pointing out that Neera Tanden was the White House Staff Secretary when Biden autopenned pardons from a golf course in the US Virgin Islands.
The organisation released further analysis finding that Biden’s pardons for family members, Anthony Fauci, General Milley, J6 Committee members, and Gerald Lundergan were all autopenned.
Now a further analysis of Executive Order signatures shows an “increased use of the autopen as President Biden’s mental and physical decline accelerated,” according to the group.
The findings show that Biden used a wet signature on every single Executive Order during his first 18 months in office.
However, this radically changed in late Spring of 2022 when around half of the orders were autopenned. By the Summer, 100 percent of the orders were being signed by autopen.
In 2023, two thirds of the orders were autopenned, and in 2024 that figure rose to three quarters, before again hitting 100 percent in the last days of his presidency in 2025.

The new findings come after President Trump called for those who operated Biden’s autopen to be jailed.
Trump has declared that all of the pardons issued by ‘Joe Biden’ in the final days of his fake Presidency should be void because he didn’t sign any of them.

A watchdog group representing energy workers, Power the Future, has called for a congressional investigation into executive orders signed during Biden’s administration, claiming there is “no evidence” that Biden was aware of or approved the orders.
The group’s findings, detailed in a letter to House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman James Comer (R-KY), suggest that a small group of White House staff may have used an autopen to sign significant policies without the president’s knowledge.
The letter, obtained by Fox News Digital, states, “Power The Future remains concerned that key policies of major economic and national security significance directed by the White House during the Biden-Harris administration may have been undertaken without presidential awareness and approval, but perhaps instead by a small coterie of staff.”

The nonprofit organization reviewed several executive orders related to climate policy dating back to 2021 and found no indication that Biden ordered, directed, or even knew about them.
Executive Director Daniel Turner emphasized the severity of the issue, stating, “This autopen scandal is evidence that these green EOs are invalid, and the instigators should be thoroughly investigated by the DOJ for violating the trust of the American people and perpetuating a great fraud on the nation.”
The concerns come amid broader scrutiny of Biden’s presidency, including revelations about his cognitive decline and allegations of a covert “Politburo” running the country.
Power the Future pointed to an incident recounted by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), who described a moment when Biden appeared unaware that he had signed a critical LNG executive order.
Johnson recalled, “I thought, ‘We are in serious trouble—who is running the country?’”
He added, “Like, I don’t know who put the paper in front of him, but he didn’t know (he had signed it).”

Further fueling the controversy, a March report by The Heritage Foundation revealed that a significant majority of official documents signed during Biden’s term used the same autopen signature.
Donald Trump Jr. addressed the issue in a post on X, questioning the legality of the executive orders.

“So how are any of these Executive Orders from Biden even legal?” he asked.
President Trump has also weighed in, calling for accountability for the “treasonous thugs” who he claims “knew he (Biden) was cognitively impaired” and “took over the Autopen.”
The Department of Justice has taken notice, with Ed Martin, a pardon attorney and head of the DOJ’s weaponization task force, investigating potential “gatekeepers” who may have controlled the White House during Biden’s tenure.
Martin has identified a trio of individuals allegedly involved in the misuse of the autopen, suggesting they effectively ran the country.

Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley noted that while presidents are legally allowed to use an autopen, courts may not accept theories of unauthorized use without concrete evidence.
Power the Future argues that the lack of public commentary from Biden on these orders, combined with concerns about his mental capacity, warrants further scrutiny.
The group is pushing for Congress to investigate, asserting that an electronic paper trail should reveal who initiated the autopen signatures and when.
The allegations have sparked calls for transparency, with critics insisting that the American public deserves clarity on whether Biden personally approved the executive orders or if they were signed without his knowledge.
If the latter proves true, it could lead to a significant scandal regarding the legitimacy of actions taken during his administration.
