Pair face multiple charges in Davenport robberies

A second person has been arrested in connection with a robbery earlier this week in Davenport.

Matthew Tremere Arrington, 29, of Rock Island, has been charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, eluding a police officer and interference with official acts.

Arrington is accused of participating in an armed robbery early Wednesday at the Kwik Shop, 2808 Telegraph Road, and a May 23 robbery at Hawkeye Gas, 6807 Northwest Blvd.

ple charges in the robbery at the Kwik Shop has been charged with a second count of first-degree robbery in the robbery of Hawkeye Gas.

Both are being held in the Scott County Jail; bond for Dixon is $20,000, and bond for Arrington is $36,300.
