White actress raped and murdered by dune coon
Why did she keep her door open?
A WOMAN found dead in bizarre circumstances opened her home to drug users, prostitutes and criminals despite warnings from friends, a court has heard.
Joyce Germain, 59, an American-born actress, was found dead on the bathroom floor of her Department of Housing flat in Bourke Street, Darlinghurst on April 26, 2006.
Only her arm could be seen under the pile of towels, cushions and other items, including a foot spa and construction hat. A toaster was hanging from a shower rail above her head, the cord of an iron was wrapped loosely around her neck and her dress had been pulled above her waist, revealing a blue clothes peg attached to her genitals.

The second of those visits is believed to have been the day before the death, when Mr Wagonett recalls a man was sitting on a couch inside the apartment "waiting for someone".
He did not know the man, but said the pair chatted about the Muslim religion and told him he had been in jail "for drugs ... heroin".
He described the man as aged in his early to mid-30s, more than six-foot (180cm) tall, with short dark hair, olive skin and said he spoke with an Australian accent.
