After hearing testimony from four prosecution witnesses, including the victim, a magistrate ruled Tuesday that there was sufficient evidence to hold a city man on charges of allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl.
From the stand in the hearing room of District Judge James G. Carn, the victim pointed to the defendant, Shaun M. Cormier, as the man who allegedly sexually assaulted her on the afternoon of Dec. 24.
(Wish we could have the corrective measures of 50 years ago. But they still make towing chains).
