5 People Sought In Robbery Of Uptown Clothing Store
NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating suspects wanted in connection with the robbery Thursday of an Uptown clothing store.
The robbery occurred just after 12 p.m. at a store in the 200 block of Broadway Street.
According to investigators, five people entered the store and one (composite, left) brandished a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and a
ustomer and told them not to move. Meanwhile, the other suspects removed several articles of clothing from the shelves, according to New Orleans Police Department spokesman Sgt. Paul Accardo.

spects then fled in a Dodge Durango, later learned to have been stolen in Jefferson Parish. The car l
ater was recovered a short distance from the store.
Second District Detective Nicole Jones is in charge of the investigation.
Crimestoppers, at (504) 822-1111, is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible. Callers do not have to give their names or testify in court.
