Pope Francis told the Italian newspaper La Repubblica that the United States of America has “a distorted vision of the world” and Americans must be ruled by a world government, as soon as possible, “for their own good.”
The Pope made the observation in an interview with La Repubblica reporter Eugenio Scalfari.
“Last Thursday, I got a call from Pope Francis,” Scalfari reported. “It was about noon, and I was at the newspaper when my phone rang.”
He said Pope Francis had been watching Putin and Trump at the G20 and had become agitated. The Pope demanded to see him at four that afternoon, according to a Google translation of the Italian report.
“Pope Francis told me to be very concerned about the meeting of the G20,” Scalfari wrote.
As translated into English by Agence France Presse, which picked up the story, the Pope said “I am afraid there are very dangerous alliances between powers who have a distorted view of the world: America and Russia, China and North Korea, Russia and Assad in the war in Syria.”

“The danger concerns immigration,” the Pope continued to La Repubblica. “Our main and unfortunately growing problem in the world today is that of the poor, the weak, the excluded, which includes migrants.”
“This is why the G20 worries me: It mainly hits immigrants,” Pope Francis said, according to AFP.
Pope Francis’s idea that Americans would be better off under a world government doesn’t stop there. The radical leftist pontiff also went on record stating that Europe should become one country under one government.
In the same interview, according to La Repubblica, Pope Francis said that Europe must take on a “federal structure,” resembling feudal times when the peasants were ruled by unimpeachable monarchs.
“I also thought many times to this problem and came to the conclusion that, not only but also for this reason, Europe must take as soon as possible a federal structure,” the Pope said, according to the Google translation of the La Repubblica article.

Pope Francis called Friday for a reform of the way theology is taught in Catholic schools, saying students must learn about dialogue with Judaism and Islam, and that overall there must be greater freedom in theological research and academic pursuits.
The Jesuit pope made the call during a speech at the Jesuit-run theology university in Naples. It follows his outreach this year to the Muslim world with the signing of a joint statement with the imam of Cairo’s Al Azhar, the seat of Sunni learning, establishing the relationship between Catholics and Muslims as brothers, with a common mission to promote peace.
In his speech, Francis said dialogue and partnership with the Muslim world is necessary “to build a peaceful existence, even when there are the troublesome episodes by fanatic enemies of dialogue.”
Catholic theology students must learn the culture, language and way of thinking of Jews and Muslims “to better understand and live out our relationship,” he said.
After the theologically doctrinaire papacies of St. John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI, Francis has stressed instead the need to “walk together” with interfaith partners, often joking that theologians should ruminate on a deserted island while religious leaders press ahead with dialogue on the ground. He has also called for a more pastoral, merciful and conscience-driven approach to sticky theological problems, such as Communion for the civilly remarried.

ON THE CENTENARY OF HIS BIRTH
The centenary of John Paul II’s birth (May 18, 1920) is being commemorated with the expected looney-tunes laurels for the pontificate of this prelatical Judas (1978-2005), the former Archbishop Karol Wojtyła of Krakow, Poland.
This is the pontiff who, in 1993, ignominiously threw the Carmelite nuns out of Auschwitz, where they had been praying for all victims, Judaic and gentile. The crosses which the devout Polish peasantry had erected around Auschwitz were dismantled, also by papal directive.
He was money-mad, like all the recent pontiffs, including that favorite of the “traditionalists,” Pope Pius XII who, in 1942, founded the money-laundering operation known as the Vatican Bank. It is officially titled the “Institute for the Works of Religion,” because, according to the Pharisee Hillel, the works of holy religion are necessarily founded upon debt-peonage and usury. In his Notes On the Correct Way to Present the Jews, promulgated June 24, 1985, John-Paul taught: “An exclusively negative picture of the Pharisees is likely to be inaccurate and unjust.” (Contrast this teaching with that of Jesus in Matthew 23:14-15).
Talk about the offense of suppressing the Council of Trent’s Latin Mass all you like, but the papal money mania is among the most egregious abominations of the post-Renaissance papacy. The dogmatic Catechism of the Council of Trent allows for not one farthing of profit above the return of the principal, on any loan. Oh, well, out the window with that disposable dogma, while oblivious “traditionalists” fight to the death for the restoration of the Latin Mass. These bipolar situation ethics breed more of the same, as we shall see.
Moneybags Rev. Fr. Marcial Maciel was in special favor with John Paul. Father Maciel was founder-director of Mexico’s Legion of Christ society, “the greatest fundraiser of the modern Roman Catholic Church.” Therefore, long after he and his band of priestly perverts had molested hundreds of boys, and thirty of his seminarians sent urgent testimony to Pope John Paul alerting him to these crimes, the pontiff kept Maciel close to his pectoral cross, embracing and showering him with access and accolades, as the cash registers at the “Institute for the Works of Religion” filled with molester’s gold.
Beyond Fr. Marcial Maciel and the misnamed Legionaries of Christ, there were countless molestations of youth throughout the U.S., Ireland, Britain, Canada, Australia and Europe, of which John Paul was informed and about which he did nothing. Much of the horrendous child molestation that cost Rome billions of dollars in the pontificates of his successors, occurred during his papacy.
When Cardinal Bernard Law fled Boston, rather than risk facing prosecution for multiple counts of repeatedly facilitating the molestation of children by priests under his command, John Paul not only provided him safe haven in Rome, he awarded Law the prestigious post of Archpriest of the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, an office which confers upon the holder citizenship in Vatican City, and therefore certain protections from extradition by foreign law enforcement.
John Paul was a novel theologian. One of his novelties was his concoction of the doctrine that the followers of the Talmudic creed are “Our elder brothers in the Faith,” which, if you think about it, is a confession of the pope’s actual Faith, which certainly was not the Catholicism of the pre-Renaissance popes, or saints such as Vincent Ferrer. He obliquely condemned all of them after Rabbi Elio Toaff admitted him to Rome’s Great Synagogue, in 1986. There, the two sat on identical thrones. Speaking in the synagogue, John Paul denounced opposition to Judaism “at any time and by anyone. I repeat, ‘by anyone,” he said, in a statement that was interpreted (correctly), as a repudiation of every Catholic apostle, saint and pontiff who had fervently sought the salvation of Judaic souls through their conversion to Christ. John Paul insinuated that Judaics were saved by their race; an unscriptural, racist deceit compounded by the fact that many of them are descended of the non-Jewish Khazars, not Abraham. Is there a more pernicious act of Jew-hate than to swindle Judaic persons into imagining that they don’t need faith in Jesus Christ to be saved? (Matthew 10:5-7).
Also in 1986, John Paul II invited Buddhists and African witch doctors to the church of St. Francis of Assisi where a statue of Buddha was placed on the tabernacle and the pontiff joined in a parliament-of-religions group prayer.
In 1993, in the course of his African “pilgrimage” to formerly Catholic Benin, he told the chieftains of voodoo in that country, that their idolatrous superstitions, which had held Black people in bondage for centuries, contained “seeds of the Word” of God (cf. L'Osservatore Romano, February 10, 1993). After that favorable assessment was pronounced by “the Vicar of Christ on earth,” voodoo surged in Benin, and three years later the government conferred upon voodoo the status of "an officially recognized religion" (cf. Associated Press dispatch, January 11, 1996).
The fact that John Paul II was “infallibly” judged to be a saint, and canonized in 2014 by Pope Francis, an act “concelebrated" by 150 cardinals and 700 bishops, to the acclaim of an estimated 800,000 pilgrims present in Rome, and tens of millions of devotees around the world, tells us all we need to know about today’s bipolar “Catholic” Church.

Francis on Sunday laid out his vision for a post-COVID world by uniting the core elements of his social teachings into a new encyclical, 'Fratelli Tutti' (Brothers All), which was released on the feast day of his namesake, the peace-loving St. Francis of Assisi.
The document draws its inspiration from the teachings of St. Francis and the pope's previous preaching on the injustices of the global economy and its destruction of the planet and pairs them with his call for greater human solidarity to address today's problems.

Francis had started writing the encyclical, the third of his pontificate, before the coronavirus struck and upended everything from the global economy to everyday life.
He said the pandemic, however, had confirmed his belief that current political and economic institutions must be reformed to address the legitimate needs of the people most harmed by the coronavirus.
'Aside from the differing ways that various countries responded to the crisis, their inability to work together became quite evident,' Francis wrote.
'Anyone who thinks that the only lesson to be learned was the need to improve what we were already doing, or to refine existing systems and regulations, is denying reality.'
He cited the grave loss of millions of jobs as a result of the virus as evidence of the need for politicians to listen to popular movements, unions and marginalized groups and to craft more just social and economic policies.
'The fragility of world systems in the face of the pandemic has demonstrated that not everything can be resolved by market freedom,' he wrote.
'It is imperative to have a proactive economic policy directed at `promoting an economy that favours productive diversity and business creativity' and makes it possible for jobs to be created, and not cut.'

Francis repeated his criticism of the 'perverse' global economic system, which he said consistently keeps the poor on the margins while enriching the few.
He rejected the concept of an absolute right to property for individuals, stressing instead the 'social purpose' and common good that must come from sharing the Earth's resources.
Francis once again rejected 'trickle-down' economic theory as he did in the first major mission statement of his papacy, saying it simply doesn't achieve what it claims.
'Neo-liberalism simply reproduces itself by resorting to magic theories of `spillover' or `trickle' - without using the name - as the only solution to societal problems,' he wrote.
'There is little appreciation of the fact that the alleged `spillover' does not resolve the inequality that gives rise to new forms of violence threatening the fabric of society.'
Much of the new encyclical repeats Francis' well-known preaching about the need to welcome and value migrants and his rejection of the nationalistic, isolationist policies of many of today's political leaders.
He dedicated an entire chapter to the parable of the Good Samaritan, saying its lesson of charity, kindness and looking out for strangers was 'the basic decision we need to make in order to rebuild our wounded world.'
Vatican encyclicals are the most authoritative form of papal teaching and they traditionally take their titles from the first two words of the document. In this case, 'Fratelli Tutti' is a quote from the 'Admonitions,' the guidelines penned by St. Francis in the 13th century.
The title of the encyclical had sparked controversy in the English-speaking world, with critics noting that a straight translation of the word 'fratelli' (brothers) excludes women. The Vatican has insisted that the plural form of the word 'fratelli' is gender-inclusive.
Francis is the first pope to name himself after the mendicant friar, who renounced a wealthy, dissolute lifestyle to embrace a life of poverty and service to the poor.

Francis once again rejected 'trickle-down' economic theory as he did in the first major mission statement of his papacy, saying it simply doesn't achieve what it claims.
'Neo-liberalism simply reproduces itself by resorting to magic theories of `spillover' or `trickle' - without using the name - as the only solution to societal problems,' he wrote.
'There is little appreciation of the fact that the alleged `spillover' does not resolve the inequality that gives rise to new forms of violence threatening the fabric of society.'
Much of the new encyclical repeats Francis' well-known preaching about the need to welcome and value migrants and his rejection of the nationalistic, isolationist policies of many of today's political leaders.
He dedicated an entire chapter to the parable of the Good Samaritan, saying its lesson of charity, kindness and looking out for strangers was 'the basic decision we need to make in order to rebuild our wounded world.'
Vatican encyclicals are the most authoritative form of papal teaching and they traditionally take their titles from the first two words of the document. In this case, 'Fratelli Tutti' is a quote from the 'Admonitions,' the guidelines penned by St. Francis in the 13th century.
The title of the encyclical had sparked controversy in the English-speaking world, with critics noting that a straight translation of the word 'fratelli' (brothers) excludes women. The Vatican has insisted that the plural form of the word 'fratelli' is gender-inclusive.
Francis is the first pope to name himself after the mendicant friar, who renounced a wealthy, dissolute lifestyle to embrace a life of poverty and service to the poor.

Divide And Conquer: The Government's Propaganda Of Fear And Fake News

“Nothing is real,” observed John Lennon, and that’s especially true of politics.
Much like the fabricated universe in Peter Weir’s 1998 film The Truman Show, in which a man’s life is the basis for an elaborately staged television show aimed at selling products and procuring ratings, the political scene in the United States has devolved over the years into a carefully calibrated exercise in how to manipulate, polarize, propagandize and control a population.
Take the media circus that is the Donald Trump hush money trial, which panders to the public’s voracious appetite for titillating, soap opera drama, keeping the citizenry distracted, diverted and divided.
This is the magic of the reality TV programming that passes for politics today.
Everything becomes entertainment fodder.
As long as we are distracted, entertained, occasionally outraged, always polarized but largely uninvolved and content to remain in the viewer’s seat, we’ll never manage to present a unified front against tyranny (or government corruption and ineptitude) in any form.
Studies suggest that the more reality TV people watch—and I would posit that it’s all reality TV, entertainment news included—the more difficult it becomes to distinguish between what is real and what is carefully crafted farce.
“We the people” are watching a lot of TV.
On average, Americans spend five hours a day watching television. By the time we reach age 65, we’re watching more than 50 hours of television a week, and that number increases as we get older. And reality TV programming consistently captures the largest percentage of TV watchers every season by an almost 2-1 ratio.
This doesn’t bode well for a citizenry able to sift through masterfully-produced propaganda in order to think critically about the issues of the day.
Yet look behind the spectacles, the reality TV theatrics, the sleight-of-hand distractions and diversions, and the stomach-churning, nail-biting drama that is politics today, and you will find there is a method to the madness.
We have become guinea pigs in a ruthlessly calculated, carefully orchestrated, chillingly cold-blooded experiment in how to control a population and advance a political agenda without much opposition from the citizenry.
This is how you persuade a populace to voluntarily march in lockstep with a police state and police themselves (and each other): by ratcheting up the fear-factor, meted out one carefully calibrated crisis at a time, and teaching them to distrust any who diverge from the norm through elaborate propaganda campaigns.
Unsurprisingly, one of the biggest propagandists today is the U.S. government.
Add the government’s inclination to monitor online activity and police so-called “disinformation,” and you have the makings of a restructuring of reality straight out of Orwell’s 1984, where the Ministry of Truth polices speech and ensures that facts conform to whatever version of reality the government propagandists embrace.
This “policing of the mind” is exactly the danger author Jim Keith warned about when he predicted that “information and communication sources are gradually being linked together into a single computerized network, providing an opportunity for unheralded control of what will be broadcast, what will be said, and ultimately what will be thought.”
You may not hear much about the government’s role in producing, planting and peddling propaganda-driven fake news—often with the help of the corporate news media—because the powers-that-be don’t want us skeptical of the government’s message or its corporate accomplices in the mainstream media.
However, when you have social media giants colluding with the government in order to censor so-called disinformation, all the while the mainstream news media, which is supposed to act as a bulwark against government propaganda, has instead become the mouthpiece of the world’s largest corporation (the U.S. government), the Deep State has grown dangerously out-of-control.
This has been in the works for a long time.
Veteran journalist Carl Bernstein, in his expansive 1977 Rolling Stone piece “The CIA and the Media,” reported on Operation Mockingbird, a CIA campaign started in the 1950s to plant intelligence reports among reporters at more than 25 major newspapers and wire agencies, who would then regurgitate them for a public oblivious to the fact that they were being fed government propaganda.
In some instances, as Bernstein showed, members of the media also served as extensions of the surveillance state, with reporters actually carrying out assignments for the CIA. Executives with CBS, the New York Times and Time magazine also worked closely with the CIA to vet the news.
If it was happening then, you can bet it’s still happening today, only this collusion has been reclassified, renamed and hidden behind layers of government secrecy, obfuscation and spin.
In its article, “How the American government is trying to control what you think,” the Washington Post points out “Government agencies historically have made a habit of crossing the blurry line between informing the public and propagandizing.”
This is mind-control in its most sinister form.
The end goal of these mind-control campaigns—packaged in the guise of the greater good—is to see how far the American people will allow the government to go in re-shaping the country in the image of a totalitarian police state.
The government’s fear-mongering is a key element in its mind-control programming.
It’s a simple enough formula. National crises, global pandemics, reported terrorist attacks, and sporadic shootings leave us in a constant state of fear. The emotional panic that accompanies fear actually shuts down the prefrontal cortex or the rational thinking part of our brains. In other words, when we are consumed by fear, we stop thinking.
A populace that stops thinking for themselves is a populace that is easily led, easily manipulated and easily controlled whether through propaganda, brainwashing, mind control, or just plain fear-mongering.
Fear not only increases the power of government, but it also divides the people into factions, persuades them to see each other as the enemy and keeps them screaming at each other so that they drown out all other sounds. In this way, they will never reach consensus about anything and will be too distracted to notice the police state closing in on them until the final crushing curtain falls.
This Machiavellian scheme has so ensnared the nation that few Americans even realize they are being brainwashed—manipulated—into adopting an “us” against “them” mindset. All the while, those in power—bought and paid for by lobbyists and corporations—move their costly agendas forward.
This unseen mechanism of society that manipulates us through fear into compliance is what American theorist Edward L. Bernays referred to as “an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.”
It was almost 100 years ago when Bernays wrote his seminal work Propaganda:
To this invisible government of rulers who operate behind the scenes—the architects of the Deep State—we are mere puppets on a string, to be brainwashed, manipulated and controlled.
All of the distracting, disheartening, disorienting news you are bombarded with daily is being driven by propaganda churned out by one corporate machine (the corporate-controlled government) and fed to the American people by way of yet another corporate machine (the corporate-controlled media).
So where does that leave us?
Americans should beware of letting others—whether they be television news hosts, political commentators or media corporations—do their thinking for them.
A populace that cannot think for themselves is a populace with its backs to the walls: mute in the face of elected officials who refuse to represent us, helpless in the face of police brutality, powerless in the face of militarized tactics and technology that treat us like enemy combatants on a battlefield, and naked in the face of government surveillance that sees and hears all.
As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People and in its fictional counterpart The Erik Blair Diaries, it’s time to change the channel, tune out the reality TV show, and push back against the real menace of the police state.
If not, if we continue to sit back and lose ourselves in political programming, we will remain a captive audience to a farce that grows more absurd by the minute.
