PHILADELPHIA — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Philadelphia removed Miramar Martins De Brito, a citizen of Brazil with a final order of removal, to Brazil on Feb. 23. Martins is a foreign fugitive wanted by law enforcement authorities in Brazil for drug trafficking.

ERO Baltimore apprehends Honduran national convicted of robbery in Maryland

In January 2023, ERO Baltimore lodged an immigration detainer against the Honduran noncitizen with the Montgomery County Detention Center in Rockville. However, the Montgomery County Detention Center refused to honor the detainer and released the noncitizen from custody three weeks later.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Philadelphia removed Miguel Angel Hernandez Moreno, a citizen of Colombia with a final order of removal, to Colombia on Feb. 13. Hernandez is a foreign fugitive wanted by law enforcement authorities in Colombia to complete his incarceration for conviction on a simple homicide with aggravating factors.

Ousmane Ba, 33, a citizen of Senegal, entered the United States at or near Lukeville, Arizona, without inspection, admission or parole by an immigration official on Aug. 31, 2023. U.S. Border Patrol served him with a notice and order of expedited removal charging him with inadmissibility as a noncitizen not in possession of a valid document required for entry.

Saoud Al Naimi, 21, who was in the United States on a student visa and attending a local college, was ordered by the court to forfeit three iPhones, an iPad Pro and a MacBook, which were used in the commission of the offense. Al Naimi was also ordered to register as a sex offender. Al Naimi entered a guilty plea on August 22, 2023.
