US Secretary of State Tony Blinken announced on Wednesday that Ukraine will join NATO – pushing the US to World War III.
Secretary of State Tony Blinken says that Ukraine will be joining NATO.
Ukraine is a corrupt, non-democratic, authoritarian republic known as the most corrupt country in Europe.
Under Article 5, this means that an attack on Ukraine will be considered an attack on the United States.

As David Sachs says, “If you want nuclear war, vote Joe Biden in November.”

Just last month, on March 2, 2024, Putin warned the West during his annual “The State of Russia” speech.
Obviously, the Biden Administration ignored this warning.
Putin noted that while accusing Russia of plans to attack NATO allies in Europe, Western allies were “selecting targets for striking our territory” and “talking about the possibility of sending a NATO contingent to Ukraine.”

“We remember the fate of those who sent their troop contingents to the territory of our country,” the Russian leader said in an apparent allusion to the failed invasions by Napoleon and Hitler. “Now the consequences for the potential invaders will be far more tragic.”
In a two-hour speech before an audience of lawmakers and top officials, Putin cast Western leaders as reckless and irresponsible and declared that the West should keep in mind that “we also have the weapons that can strike targets on their territory, and what they are now suggesting and scaring the world with, all that raises the real threat of a nuclear conflict that will mean the destruction of our civilization.”
Putin’s remarks were not “off-the-cuff.” It was a carefully crafted message directed specifically at Biden and NATO leaders and came in the wake off French President Macron’s incredibly tone-deaf speech earlier in the week:
French President Emmanuel Macron said Monday that sending Western troops on the ground in Ukraine is not “ruled out” in the future after the issue was debated at a gathering of European leaders in Paris, as Russia’s full-scale invasion grinds into a third year.
The French leader said that “we will do everything needed so Russia cannot win the war” after the meeting of over 20 European heads of state and government and other Western officials.
“There’s no consensus today to send in an official, endorsed manner troops on the ground. But in terms of dynamics, nothing can be ruled out,” Macron said in a news conference at the Elysee presidential palace.

HAL TURNER WORLD 21 APRIL 2024

VIDEO: French Troops Deploy into Odessa Ukraine; NATO Troops Killed in Dnipropetrovsk Yesterday

Video has emerged from Odessa, Ukraine showing elements of the French Army entering that city. This appears to be direct entry into the Ukraine conflict by a NATO-Member country.
It is likely being carried-out pursuant to a Bi-Lateral agreement between Ukraine and France, but that is not confirmed at this time.

VIDEO:

Russia has repeatedly made clear that any troops from foreign countries that enter Ukraine will be legitimate targets for the Russian Army.
On April 13, France sent Foreign Legion troops into Slavyansk, Ukraine. Within 48 Hours, most of them were dead with many other injured from Russian strikes against Slavyansk.

DNIPROPETROVSK yesterday

Yesterday, Russia hit a hotel in the center of Dnipropetrovsk which was apparently full of NATO troops. Images of the building that was struck show a direct hit with huge damage and fire.

Numerous reports from the scene above claim that "numerous NATO troops were carried out of the rubble, seriously injured or dead."
Ambulances reportedly took those NATO troops to waiting helicopters, which reportedly shuttled the troops to Rzeszow, Poland.
All day today, Med-evac aircraft from NATO countries, including an Airbus A330-MRTT were seen coming into and rapidly taking off from, Rzeszow. One is shown on the radar monitoring image below:

Clearly, these multi-role air refueling tankers are operating in their med-evac role because there are no air-refueling operations taking place anywhere near Rzeszow.
So the French lost Foreign Legion troops in Slavyansk, NATO lost more troops in Dnipropetrovsk yesterday, and now France is sending 1,000 troops and armor into Odessa.

Step-by-step, Western nations are provoking Russia into now direct battle.
Don't be surprised when the missiles start to fly - and be sure to REMEMBER who caused it: We did.

Macron likely to see his prime minister ousted after snap election.

French President Emmanuel Macron has threatened “civil war” on his nation if his globalist Renaissance Party loses the upcoming snap legislative elections to the conservative populist National Rally and the far-left New Popular Front (NFP) coalition.
In a message lashing out at the popularity of La France Insoumise, the leading party of the NFP, Macron claimed that the so-called “far-right” solution it is proposing to fix mass migration and the breakdown of the social order in France will only lead to “division and civil war” because they are based on “categorizing people in terms of their religion or origins.”

Macron further claimed that there is “a civil war behind” the political agenda of the NFP because they “categoriz[e] people in terms of their religious outlook or the community they belong to.”
Trying to fix France’s out-of-control mass migration problem in order to restore order and civility is simply “a means of justifying isolating [migrants] from the broader national community,” Macron continued. “And, in this case, you would have a civil war with those who do not share those same values.”
(Related: Did you hear? Macron dissolved the entire French parliament after Marine Le Pen and National Rally thrashed him in the recent European elections.)

Macron likely to see his prime minister ousted after snap election

Just like they did in the recent European elections, Marine Le Pen’s National Rally party is expected to place first in the fast-approaching snap elections. National Rally is said to have more than double that of Renaissance, which is why Macron is having a meltdown.
Macron apparently called the special snap election because he mistakenly thought National Rally would be too low on resources and too disorganized at that point to achieve a legislative majority, especially on such short notice. Macron, hilariously, was dead wrong.
The French right, admittedly, is not in very good shape. It tried unsuccessfully to rally together into a broad right-wing coalition against Macron, only to end up widening the splinter between National Rally and the more mainstream conservative party The Republicans.

On the left, most parties have joined with La France Insoumise to form the NFP. The left and right together are popular enough to ensure that Renaissance and Macron’s liberal coalition Ensemble will likely place third in the snap elections.
National Rally will probably not secure an outright majority, but a third-place Ensemble means that Macron’s first choice of prime minister will likely get ousted, making it difficult for Macron to continue governing.
“In France, they take it all too seriously,” one of our regular readers wrote about the political climate in France. “I might be in a pub or club without a care in the world and the men want to talk politics.”
“I had hoped that talking cuisine would gain me more friends than talking la politique. French vin? Keep France as full as we can of its own culture and merit. Viva la France!”
Another wrote that Macron is clearly trying to maintain a dictatorial position over the French who no longer want him to hold that title.
Another of our regulars emphasized the fact that tyranny exists both on the left and the right, which is why the best route is dead center to keep the polar opposite ends of the political spectrum in a stalemate where they can cause the least amount of harm.
“In the West, everybody is tired of left-wing tyranny. In the east, people rejoice over right-wing tyranny as they have given up on their lives. No matter which wing or center, tyranny can exist in all shapes and sizes as long as the people allow it.”
When tyrants don’t get what they want, they try to ruin everything in an angry rage. Learn more at Tyranny.news.

France’s Problem Is Not the “Far Right.” It Is Socialism. A Warning For All.

France is the world’s poster child for statism. The same statism that some politicians seek to impose on the United States has economically devastated France, a wonderful country with excellent human capital and outstanding entrepreneurs.

France shows why no one should try socialism. The euro area demonstrates why no one should imitate the statist model that French politicians impose.

Following the European elections, French credit default swaps have soared to a post-2020 record of 39 points. Many commentators blame the rise of the National Front for market turmoil, which has sent all euro area spreads higher. However, none of this would have happened if France’s debt was low, finances were strong, and the euro area economies enjoyed healthy economic growth.
France is the world’s poster child for statism. The same statism that some politicians seek to impose on the United States has economically devastated France, a wonderful country with excellent human capital and outstanding entrepreneurs.

France never had austerity. It has the world’s largest government relative to the size of the economy. Government spending to GDP exceeds 58%, the highest in the world. Unions are exceedingly powerful. Their ability to organize paralyzing strikes gives them a level of economic power that far exceeds their actual representation. France’s state is so large that the public sector employs 5.3 million people (21.1% of the active population), a ratio of civil servants to inhabitants of 70.9/1,000, according to Eurostat. France has one of the highest taxation systems in the OECD. In France, income tax and employer social security contributions combine to account for 82% of the total tax wedge, according to the OECD. Corporate tax rates in France are also extremely high, at 26.5%, with companies with profits of more than €500,000 paying a rate of 27.5%. The labor market regulations in France are so restrictive that the number of companies with forty-nine employees is 2.4 times higher than those with fifty, primarily due to the significant burdens businesses face once they reach the fifty-employee threshold. According to Bloomberg, a 50-employee company must create “three worker councils, introduce profit sharing, and submit restructuring plans to the councils if the company decides to fire workers for economic reasons”.
If you are a Keynesian statist, you must be salivating. The above-mentioned characteristics point to a perfect socialist society, an enormous state, extremely high and progressive taxes, and an enormous social network. It should be the optimal economy. Or not?
Well, no. France has been in economic stagnation for decades; it has not had a balanced budget since the late 1970s, and discontent is now the norm. Businesses and taxpayers have grown weary of the drain on their resources, and the subsidy system has spawned a group of dependent and irate citizens who feel left behind and struggle to comprehend their situation. The hailed social state has failed because the massive subsidy and spending machine has ignored economic calculation, making the country a nightmare for job and wealth creators, as well as a nightmare for those looking for a social net that provides opportunities. France has shown that the promise of socialist redistribution only creates stagnation. Despite its claims of extremely low inequality, at 31.5% Gini coefficient, it is one of the European countries with the highest level of discontent, insecurity, and entrenched impoverishment among citizens rotting in ghettos.

Socialism always disregards economic calculation and the need to promote growth and wealth to make progress. When maintaining a bloated state and redistribution become the only objectives, the economy stagnates, and everyone is angry.
The problem with France extends beyond these elections. Voters have the choice of deciding between statism, more statism, or outright communism. Fascinating.
Decades of agonising tax hikes and misguided immigration policies, which have alienated even those admitted into the country, have left taxpayers exhausted and law-abiding citizens terrified. The economy is experiencing low or no growth and declining productivity growth, resulting in weakened real wage growth, heightened insecurity, and crippling taxes. What are you reading in the media? “The threat is the far right.”. No. The threat is statism.

According to Bloomberg, none of the three possible alternatives to the government will decrease the debt or curb the deficit. None of them will tackle the government’s bloated size. Two want even more state control of the economy, while one wants lower taxes as the only evident pro-growth policy. However, those tax cuts are unlikely to attract much activity when administrative and bureaucratic burdens continue to weigh on the economy.
France has the potential to be a global economic leader. It has the talent, the entrepreneurial spirit, and the business expertise to create global leaders. However, the system simply expels them from the country. Many of France’s brightest have emigrated to other nations where they can thrive. Unfortunately, the political elite are extremely happy keeping the so-called state champions filled with politicians and a small group of crony sectors that are too afraid to raise their voices against the bloated state because they could suffer the wrath of government. A select breed of intellectuals and brave businesspeople are trying to change the system from within, and unfortunately, they are failing.
The lesson we can learn from France is that trying socialism never works and once the disastrous results are evident, it is almost impossible to correct the problem. France is an enormous problem in the eurozone, and the ECB cannot disguise it. But do not think this is a unique example. France is now at the tip of the iceberg. The disastrous Next Generation EU Fund and a deaf European Commission are currently covering up the much worse structural issues in Spain and other euro area nations.
France shows why no one should try socialism. The euro area demonstrates why no one should imitate the statist model that French politicians impose.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a Fox News interview scrambled to repair the political damage he left after blowing up his Oval Office meeting with President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance on Friday.

In his interview with Fox News host Bret Baier, Zelensky said he he believed he could repair relations with Trump and get back to the negotiating table, that is, until he saw Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-S.C.) damning remarks.

Following the diplomatic disaster, Graham told reporters outside the White House that he was “proud” of the way Trump and Vance handled “disrespectful” Zelensky and said he should resign if he wants peace in Ukraine.

“He either needs to resign and send somebody over that we can do business with or he needs to change,” Graham said.

Zelensky apparently hadn’t seen Graham’s comments before the interview, because he looked a bit shell-shocked and stammered that only the Ukrainian people can choose their president.

But Zelensky failed to mention that he suspended all elections in November 2023 and shot down President Trump’s recent proposal to hold new elections.

That could be because, according to polls, Zelensky’s approval rating is in the single digits among the Ukrainian people.

Graham’s about-face with Zelensky is particularly significant given the South Carolina senator has been one of Zelensky’s greatest supporters since the Ukraine conflict began in Feb. 2022.

In fact, Tucker Carlson wrote on X Saturday that Graham’s condemnation of Zelensky represented a massive political sea change.

“One of the most striking things about yesterday’s Zelensky press conference was Lindsey Graham’s reaction to it. The two are old friends, but Graham disavowed him within the hour. This was more than just transactional disloyalty. It was scapegoating. Lindsey Graham knows what’s coming,” Carlson noted.

Zelensky squandered all his political capital trying to gain the advantage over Trump by leveraging the press during the negotiation, but as the world witnessed, it backfired bigly, and not even Graham will associate himself with that.
