LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- An intruder beat a popular TV anchorwoman in her home during a possible robbery and left her with life-threatening injuries, police said Monday.

Anne Pressly, 26, was found lying in her bed and bleeding from "severe wounds," police spokeswoman Cassandra Davis. She was found non-responsive and bleeding from the head, Davis said.

Pressly, who anchors the 5 a.m. newscast on ABC affiliate KATV, was found at about 4:30 a.m. by her mother. Her mother went to her home after she failed to answer her mother's wakeup call.

Davis says the attack may have come during a robbery, because Pressly's purse was missing. There were no suspects.

The last known contact with Pressly was between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

A hospital spokeswoman didn't return a call regarding her condition.

During the station's 11:30 a.m. newscast Monday, anchor Jason Pederson read a story about the attack and said Pressly was hospitalized.

"We would ask that you keep Anne in your thoughts and, especially, in your prayers," Pederson said.

Saw this article and suspected some boon was behind it... Attractive white woman in the public eye, no doubt some nigger buck has been lusting after her! No mention though of sexual attack which is odd if a boon is involved. Hope all is well with you.

"America's Most Wanted" host John Walsh sat down with Lisa Breckenridge after "Good Day LA" to talk more about his upcoming show. He revealed that according to his sources, 26-year-old news anchor, Anne Pressly, was beaten and raped in her home. So far authorities have refused to say whether she was sexually assaulted.

Police said they have information they hope will lead them to the killer of a television anchorwoman who died days after a brutal attack in her home.

But then it said

Police said they do not yet know the suspect's identity, and would not say what evidence they have linking the person to the attack on Anne Pressly, 26, who died Saturday. Her mother found her badly beaten on the morning of Oct. 20 when Pressly did not answer her regular wake-up call.

And then in the same statement they said....

"We do have an individual. The suspect has not been arrested," police spokesman Sgt. Cassandra Davis said.

No it doesn't make sense. I am thinking as stated before that they are trying to keep this suppressed because of the elections.
It would not be in favor of Nigbama to have too many nigger crime stories in the MSM, unlike the pile of bad news of whites committing crime (they say) to go after the nigbama. They want those to be in the spot light.

Do a google news search on "Anne Pressly", and select 'search by date'. You'll immediately spot that publicity on this murder has all but stopped dead in its tracks.

Something is very wrong about this case that they seriously don't want to talk about, especially not now.
It looks like an official order has gone out that the case isn't to be mentioned on any news network.

With such a high profile case as this the media should be all over this story particularly as the victim is one of their own, but as you so accurately observed, nothing is moving.

If the cops do have information which they have already admitted they do, then the longer they refuse to release that information the colder this case will get. There are already rumors circulating that her body had been mutilated around the face, neck and genital areas which is classic TNB.

AMW has also learned that despite reports to the contrary, Little Rock Police have not named a suspect in the beating, and following the attack, a citizen donated pepper spray, which cops distributed other female local TV reporters.

We told you Wednesday that several St. Vincent Health employees were fired for improperly accessing the medical records of murdered Channel 7 anchor Anne Pressly. Now we're learning more about those who gained access to her records and what Arkansas' law says about it.

A month to the day that TV anchor Anne Pressly was found beaten in her Little Rock home, more news is surfacing about hospital staff who gained improper access to Pressly's medical files. An audit showed that as many as eight people viewed the records.

All were placed on leave during the investigation, which determined that at least two of the employees had valid reasons for accessing her files.

Today's THV talked with a spokesperson for St. Vincent four times Thursday who told said CEO Peter Banko was the only one that could give us an interview, but that he was unavailable and tied up in meetings all day.

Banko however did tell the Arkansas Democrat Gazette that he would not identify the employees or say what positions they held. Doctors are not considered hospital employees at St. Vincent, so they were not among those fired.

We also learned that accessing medical information without authorization can be a violation of federal law. The privacy is called HIPPA and penalties range from one to 10 years in prison with a hefty fine, but the Department of Health and Human Services tells Today's THV charges are rarely filed.

Meanwhile, LRPD's Lt. Terry Hastings says they have not been contacted about theft and are not investigating the former St. Vincent employees.

As for a lead to solve the murder, there aren't many.

Hastings says, "Right now we have quite a bit of physical evidence. We do have some other information that I am not at liberty to comment to because of course we don't want that information to be damaged and hamper our investigation.

Thousands of tips have poured in and every day Hastings says detectives conduct interviews. He says he feels confident Pressly's killer will be found.

St. Vincent tells Today's THV that they notified Pressly's parents about the employees as soon as they learned of the matter.

A man suspected of killing a television anchor woman in Arkansas was arrested Wednesday night, police said.

The Arkansas Democrat Gazette reported Curtis Lavelle Vance, 28, of Marianna was arrested at a Little Rock house between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. by police acting on a tip. He is suspected in the October slaying of Anne Pressly, a newscaster at KATV.

Pressly was found unconscious in her bed Oct. 20 by her mother and died five days later without regaining consciousness.

"We have a very, very solid case," Little Rock Police Chief Stuart Thomas said. "I'm confident we have the right man."

Looks like we'll have to wait a few more days before we find out the connection between this unfortunate (misguided) girl and the trashy enword who is now in custody. The truth will come out, since at least several people know "the rest of the story."

They used DNA evidence to nail this ape. You can guess where it came from.

The police and the MSM knew for weeks that it was a nigger and deliberately hid this fact from us until things cooled down.

With a few persons supposedly being fired for "looking into" her medical records they had do something to make themselves look good, or someone else was going to do the job for them. Still, something doesn't smell right with this. (JMO)

Anne Pressly Was Beaten In Her Home, Died 5 Days Later

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) ― Police for weeks had neither a suspect nor a motive in the beating death of a popular television anchorwoman. A suspect is now in custody, but many questions remain unanswered.

Officers arrested Curtis Lavelle Vance, 28, at a home in Little Rock on Wednesday night -- tipped to his location after police held a late-evening news conference to reveal him as their suspect. "We went there and he's in custody," said Lt. Terry Hastings, a police spokesman.

Vance was charged with capital murder in the death of Anne Pressly. The 26-year-old anchorwoman, who had a small part in the President George W. Bush biopic "W," died Oct. 25 -- five days after being severely beaten in what police described as a random attack at her home.

Vance lived in Marianna, in eastern Arkansas, but had numerous contacts in central Arkansas, Police Chief Stuart Thomas said. He named Vance as the suspect earlier Wednesday night and said Vance was traveling with a woman, three kids, a pistol and "lots of extra ammunition."

Within an hour of the news conference's end, officers were at a home south of downtown. Vance apparently was not armed when arrested, Hastings said early Thursday.

Police did not disclose what led them to suspect Vance, with Thomas saying only that the capital murder charge was based on "a very, very solid case due to solid detective work." :confused:

Hastings had said previously that DNA and other evidence from the scene gave police a portrait of the person they were looking for, though they did not have a name until this month. One of Pressly's credit cards was used at a gas station after the beating, but Hastings said security camera footage didn't provide a good look at the person using it.

Pressly lived alone in the city's Pulaski Heights section, a mix of mansions and bungalows near a country club. Her mother, visiting from out of town at the time of the attack but not staying at her daughter's home, found Pressly on Oct. 20, a half-hour before the anchorwoman was due on KATV's "Daybreak" program. The mother checked on the woman after she didn't answer her daily wake-up call.

The anchorwoman had been beaten severely on the head and upper torso. She never regained consciousness.

In the police station lobby before Thomas' news conference, several of Pressly's KATV colleagues quietly wiped tears from their faces. The station raised $50,000 for a reward fund.

Pressly was a native of Greenville, S.C., and moved with her family to Little Rock while she was in high school. She was a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn., which has discussed establishing a scholarship to honor her.

In the Oliver Stone movie "W" -- the subject of a news story she covered as the film was being shot in Shreveport, La. -- Pressly appeared briefly as a conservative commentator who speaks favorably of Bush's "Mission Accomplished" event on an aircraft carrier after the start of the Iraq war.
