MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department says that one of the two victims who suffered life-threatening injuries from a drive-by shooting along Winchester Road on Friday has died.
Friday evening, MPD found two men with critical gunshot injuries along Durrand Drive, located within the Emerald Ridge Apartments in Parkway Village.
MPD said the shooting took place at the nearby intersection of Winchester Road and South Goodlett Street.
Both victims were rushed to Regional One Hospital for treatment.
Police say one of those men died Monday. The other has since been released from the hospital.

The department released surveillance video of the shooting Tuesday evening, which begins with the victims’ white sedan sitting at the light, waiting to turn east onto Winchester Road.
The footage then shows a black, four-door sedan pull up alongside the victims’ car.

A passenger is seen getting out of the sedan before shooting at the victims’ white car several times as it makes its turn.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
