NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Norfolk man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in a Taco Bell parking lot.
On Sunday, March 17 just after 3 a.m. police dispatch received a call about a gunshot victim at the Taco Bell on Monticello Avenue.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 36-year-old man suffering for a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
An investigation revealed the shooting took place while two people were arguing in the parking lot. Detectives later arrested and charged 23-year-old Jermaine M. McIntosh Jr. with malicious wounding and use of a firearm.
He is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
