Bond set for accused killer

NEW ORLEANS -- Wednesday morning, a magistrate judge set bond at $520,000 for Antoine Johnson.
Johnson is accused of shooting to death a man last month and injuring a 14 year old girl. He is booked on a second degree murder charge. Tuesday night, Johnson turned himself in at Central Lockup.
Johnson is also accused in the Louisiana Avenue car wash shooting. During a preliminary hearing last month in the case, a judge allowed him to go free a
ter a preliminary hearing where the two victims did not testify. The case goes back to court on Friday for another hearing. District Attorney Eddie Jordan promises to use all the evidence at his disposal to
meet the burden of proof.
