ABILENE, Texas - Taking a lunch break isn't a great idea, especially if you're running from the law.
A Texas man accused of robbing an Abilene bank was busted minutes later at a restaurant.
Investigators say witnesses to the American State Ba
k job gave authorities the license plate number of the getaway truck. Officers found the pickup only about 10 miles west of Abilene, at the Flying J Truck Stop.
Suspect Oscar Ibarra and his
brothe
r Irad were nabbed during their apparent lunch break. Oscar Ibarra is charged with multiple counts of bank robbery. His brother faces charges
