Arrest made in 95-year-old woman's murder case

South Bend, IN - Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of an elderly South Bend woman.
Late Friday night police arrested 41-year-old Frank Perez. He is now being held at the St. Joseph County Jail.
Police say neighbors actually checked on 95-year-old Betty Glenton when they noticed her front door was open on Mond
ay morning.
Now they hope fears are calmed.
Just Friday afternoon Perez was arrested late Friday night
on, police were still working on collecting evidence at the house and now they are
letting everyone know they've made an arrest.
Police say Perez became a suspect two days into the murder investigation.
They then started surveillance and on Friday night pulled him over for a traffic violation. Shortly after they arrested Perez after some questioning at the police station.
They believe that Perez broke into Glenton's home then murdered her. Officials say she was possibly sexually assaulted but they're still waiting for the test results to prove confirm that.
