Drunk Negro Kills White Family of Three

A judge has set bond at $50,000 for a Bamberg man who's charged in connection with a crash that killed three members of the same family last Friday.

Jimmy Taylor, 52, is charged with three counts of felony driving under the influence in the three-car collision. It happened on state Highway 70 in Orangeburg County.

Seventy-four-year-old George "Phil" Neeley, his wife, Anne Utsey Price-Neeley and his 41-year-old son, Madison "Matt" Neeley, were killed after in the wreck. The family was from the Denmark area.

Orangeburg Coroner Samuetta Marshall said all three died from massive blunt trauma.

At the time of Taylor's arrest, he was being treated at the hospital for injuries he sustained in the accident.
