The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance locating a man wanted in a shooting investigation.
On Sunday, November 25, 2018, at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a call for the Sound of Gunshots at Dawes Road and Gower Street area.
It is alleged that:
- a 24-year-old man was walking down the street
- he was confronted by another man known to him
- the suspect produced a gun and shot at him
- the victim was able to escape with no injury
On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for a person with a gun in the Rexleigh Drive and St. Clair Avenue East area.
It is further alleged that:
- a 24-year-old man was walking his dog
- he was confronted by the same man
- the man produced a gun and struck him in the face with it
- the victim was forced into a building at gunpoint
- the victim was able to escape
The suspect has been identified as Felix Ajayi, 25, of Toronto. He is wanted for:
1. Discharge Firearm with Intent endanger Life
2. Point Firearm
3. Possess Loaded Firearm
4. two counts of Possess Firearm Without Holding a Licence
5. two counts of Possess Firearm Knowingly Not Holding a Licence
6. two counts of Contravene Section 117(H) Firearms Act
7. Use Firearm in Commission of Indictable Offence
8. Assault with a Weapon
9. Forcible Confinement
10. Carry Concealed Weapon
11. Threaten Death
He is believed to be violent, armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
