Roderick Lewis, 23, is charged with punching an officer and biting a police dog.

It's often said, if a dog bites a man it's not news, but if a man bites a dog, you've got a story.

Well, here is that story.

West Haven officer Scott Bloom was on patrol with his K-9, Onyx, near the Rite Aid on Elm Street early Thursday morning, when he noticed Roderick Lewis walking toward him.

Lewis yelled out "I need a bag of dust," referring to Angel Dust, according to police.

Lewis, 23, walked toward the officer and reached into his waistband. The officer grabbed Lewis' arms and told him to stop. That's when Lewis punched officer Bloom in the face, according to police.

Onyx, the police dog, jumped from Bloom's cruiser and attacked the suspect, latching onto his leg, according to police.

But then Lewis did his own chomping, biting into the dog's side, police said. Lewis didn't let go until the officer had to physically pull him off the dog, police said.

Lewis was charged with assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and cruelty to animals.

Officer Bloom and Onyx were treated for their injuries.

There's plenty more of these types of Congoids for working class Whites to deal with every day.

The P.C. restraint by White police officers towards savages cost lives.

Non-White badgefags draw guns on YT IMO for much less, believe it.

This officer sounds ike the one who had his photo taken with the perps who rcently attacked a West Point Cadet.

As IMO he has no idea what he was/is dealing with as he must be brain washed or then what is it ?

WEST HAVEN — A man who approached a police cruiser claiming, “I need a bag of dust,” struck an officer and then bit the police dog that was biting him Thursday morning, police said.

Roderick Lewis, 23, of 103 Elm St., was charged with assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and cruelty to animals.

Officer Scott Bloom and police dog Onyx were treated for their injuries and released.

Officer Scott Bloom was on patrol with police dog Onyx at 2:35 a.m. near 72 Elm St. when he spotted a man walking with his pants falling down, police said. The man then removed his jacket and walked off the sidewalk toward the cruiser. Bloom recognized the man as Roderick Lewis from previous contact, police said.

Lewis yelled to Bloom, “I need a bag of dust,” according to police. Bloom asked Lewis to repeat what he said, and Lewis again allegedly said “I need a bag of dust.”

Bloom knew “dust” was street slang for angel dust or PCP, police said.

Lewis then reached into his waistband while standing close to Bloom, and Bloom immediately grabbed Lewis’s arms and ordered him to not reach for anything, police said.

Lewis allegedly said, “You’re not stronger than me” and punched Bloom in the face. Bloom and Onyx then got into a fight with Lewis, who continued to battle even though Onyx by then had Lewis’s right leg in his mouth, police said.

Bloom said he heard Onyx yelp during the fight and saw Lewis biting Onyx on his right side.

Bloom ordered Lewis to stop biting the dog, but Lewis allegedly refused to let go. As Bloom and Lewis continued to fight, Lewis eventually stopped biting Onyx, police said.

Several officers then arrived and assisted Bloom in handcuffing Lewis.

Lewis was taken to Milford Hospital for injuries sustained in the altercation and possible drug use, police said.

Lewis, 23, of 103 Elm St., was charged with assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and cruelty to animals. Lewis is being arraigned at Milford Court today.

Bloom and Onyx were treated for their injuries and released.

WEST HAVEN — A city man who last year made international news when he bit a police dog is back behind bars after he allegedly attempted to strike officers and claimed he was a “terrorist” who was going to destroy the Earth.

Roderick Lewis, 24, of 103 Elm St. was believed to be under the influence of hallucinogenic drugs when officers responded to a call about an argument between Lewis and his best friend, police said.

Once in custody, police said he made “bizarre statements,” including that he had a microchip in his chest and that, if his heart were to stop, items in vaults across the world would explode, destroying the planet.

When officers arrived at Lewis’ home Monday, Lewis said he was angry police took “so long to get there.” He began screaming profanities at the officers, including “(expletive) you, pig,” police said.

His shouts drew a large crowd, and he tried to pull a female relative away from speaking to officers, police said. As they attempted to stop him, he ran down the driveway, police said. Officers attempted to put him in handcuffs, but the amount of sweat on his body made that difficult, police said. (In other words, the nigger was very greasy - eww.)

He made “several attempts” to strike officers and spit at one of them, police said. Officers were eventually able to force him to the ground, and Lewis’ face was cut in the struggle, police said.

After making the “bizarre statements” to police, he was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for his facial injury, and continued to yell at staff about the cops, police said.

Lewis faces charges including interfering with an officer, criminal attempt to commit assault on a police officer and breach of peace.

In October 2010, Lewis allegedly approached a police cruiser claiming, “I need a bag of dust,” punched an officer in the face and then bit the police dog that was biting him, police said. “Dust” is street slang for angel dust, or PCP, police said.

In that incident, Lewis allegedly refused to stop biting the dog, which yelped in pain during the struggle, police said. Officer Scott Bloom and police dog Onyx were treated in the incident, police said.

Lewis was charged with assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and cruelty to animals in the October altercation. Shortly after that arrest, his bail was reduced and he was released.

At that time, Sgt. Martin Garcia said it was “disheartening” that Lewis, a convicted felon and “violent offender” who assaulted a police officer and his dog, was not behind bars. (That's just the JEWstice system for you there, Sgt. Garcia - niggers are usually allowed to run amok no matter what they do, or who they hurt.)

Lewis pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for trial in the October incident. He is due to appear in Superior Court in Milford Sept. 6 on the recent charges .
