Two home invasion robberies early Tuesday appear to be the work of a gang targeting Hispanic victims, Memphis police said.

Police said they're looking for at least two men, and as many as six, in a string of at least 22 brutal break-ins in recent months.

Corry Fulford, 23, and Preston Woodruff, 23, are charged in warrants with aggravated robbery in an Oct. 11 home invasion at 5429 Apple Blossom in Hickory Hill. Sever
l men inside the apartment were held at gunpoint and robbed by four men.

One resident was pistol-whipped and more than $5,000 was taken, police said.

Both men are suspects in
e
veral
home invasion robberies in Jackson, Tenn.

Many of the crimes occurred in Hickory Hill, Fox Meadows, and the Summer and Perkins area, in apartments rented by Hispanic men.

More than 50 people ha
ve been victimized and more than $40,000 taken in the reported robberies.

Anyone who knows where Fulford or Woodruff are is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH or the robbery bureau at 545-3982.
