Monkey wrench-wielding suspects wanted for central valley robbery

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says that a months-old robbery investigation is still open with the suspects still on the loose.

According to LVMPD, the robbery occurred on Jan. 10 around 9:30 p.m. at a business near Rancho Drive and Bonanza Avenue.

The suspects, a man and a woman, were armed with a large yellow monkey wrench
, which they used to threaten an employee.


According to police, the woman even swung the wrench at the victim's head before fleeing the store with stolen merchandise.

The male is described as a black adult, roughly 35 to 49 years old with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black Raiders beanie, an orange and green jacket and gray pants.

The female is described as a black adult, roughly 35 to 45 years old with a medium build. She was last seen wearing a black and yellow cheetah print jumpsuit.
