Serial Robbery Suspects Caught After Mid-City Chase

NEW ORLEANS -- Two men suspected in a series of armed robberies were arrested Wednesday after a lengthy chase.
Police said Frank Garrison, 31, and Donald Spencer, 25, robbed man at gunpoint Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the 700 block of North Rochablave Street. The vic
tim called police with a description of the getaway car, which was then spotted at North Dorgenois and St. Peter streets.
When officers tried to stop the car, the suspects allegedly led them
on a
high-speed
chase through Mid City.
At Canal and Broad streets, police said Spencer jumped out of the car with a loaded .357 magnum and was quickly arrested.

son allegedly kept driving until he slammed into two cars near Bienville Street and N. Carrollton Avenue.
Police said the car the two men were driving was reported stolen Tuesday from the 1800 block of Esplanade Avenue.
Garrison and Spencer now face a lengthy list of charges.
"Mr. Garrison, as well as Mr. Spencer, both have a long criminal history," New Orleans Police Department spokesman Sgt. Paul Accardo said. "Frank Garrison is listed in our computer as having a minimum of six outstanding arrest warrants with a history of domestic violence. We also understand he's wanted by the U.S. Marshals
service."
