Church Janitor Accused Of Sex Crimes

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- He's been a part of a KCK church since he was a boy, first as a member, then as a trusted worker.
Now the janitor of the Bethel Church of God and Christ is in jail on charges of sex crimes.
Police said 47-year-old Clarence Garrison is facing four felonies of indecent liberties with a child.
They said Garrison took advantage of children at his home and inside the church.
One parishioners told KCTV5 News that she gave her two children specific instructions, "
I warned them about Clarence. Don't take candy from him. Stay away from him. If you have to go to the bathrooms, don't g
o by yourself... church is somewhere where you go to get help, not get hurt."
KCTV5 News talked off-camera to the church's pastor about the allegations against Garrison. Pastor James Bailey said he is dumbfounded.
Garrison is behind bars on $75,000 bond
