A person was fatally shot early Friday morning in a driveway on North Parkview Drive, near Airline Highway, and a man accused of pulling the trigger has been arrested, Baton Rouge police said.
Aklyah Dorsey, 20, was killed about 1 a.m., according to a news release. Khalil Holmes, 26, was booked on a count of negligent homicide.
Department spokesman Sgt. L'Jean McKneely said Dorsey and Holmes were in a relationship. No other details were immediately available.
