Danville, VA - A man Danville Police say assaulted the mother of his child then forced both her and the child into his car is wanted for assault and battery. Police say 22-year-old Ignacio Cisneros hasn't been served.
But they say he will be charged even though the mother, Briana Goodwin does not want to press charges. In April, they say Cisneros followed the car carrying Goodwin and their seven-month-old son.
Police say Cisneros slammed into the vehicle, forcing it to pull over, then assaulted Goodwin, and threw her and the boy into
his vehicle. Authorities ultimately caught up with Cisneros in Rockingham County, North Carolina.
Both victims were safe, however, the mother refused to press charges, the Danville officer that responded to the call has sworn to the assault, that's why Cisneros will be charged.
