HENRICO, VA (WWBT) – A Henrico County man has been arrested on charges of cruelty to animals after allegedly throwing a puppy from a balcony.

On March 1, 2010, officers responded to the 5800 block of Tivoli Cirle in reference to a puppy found injured in hedges.

The investigation found that William Clifton Carrington, 20, allegedly became upset when the dog urinated on the carpet and threw the animal over the balcony of his second story apartment.
