Serial Rapist Strikes Again in Koreatown
A gunman who tried to sexually assault a woman in her Koreatown apartment may be responsible for two similar attacks in that area recently, police said today.
Reportedly, the woman was accosted at her residence near Fifth Street and Normandie Avenue.
According to police, the man, armed with a handgun, followed the woman into her apartment
uilding and to her apartment. He forced his way into her home, demanded money and tried to sexually assault her, before fleeing. The man is believed to be the same sus
pect who sexually assaulted two women at gunpoint in their Koreatown apartments in August and September.
The suspect is described as black,
about 20-25 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 180 to 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is armed and may speak Korean, police said.
