A man was stabbed in the chest in late September on Welshwood Drive in Nashville.
Aquavious Edward was allegedly walking near an apartment complex on Welshwood Drive on September 27 when a man stabbed him in his chest and fled.
On Saturday police charged Shavaz Biggers-Lane with stabbing Edward.
After the stabbing, Edward was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he suffered a punctured left lung.
Biggers-Lane is charged with attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault. He is being held on a $125,000 bond.
Biggers-Lane will be in court on Wednesday.
