FORT WORTH, Texas -- Investigators Monday released the identity of a man they think could be responsible for a string of sexual assaults against young Hispanic women in Texas.
According to police, Claudio Alberto Diaz is the prime suspect in the assaults following a significant weekend tip that ties him to several a
eas in which assaults occurred.
In fact, police said Diaz has ties to addresses in Carrollton, Dallas and Fort Worth. He also is connected to a Houston address in an area where one woman was

nd killed, police said.
"We still think he's a danger. We don't see his activity subsiding," Fort Wo
rth Police Lt. Abdul Pridgen said. "And we want people to still be aware of him."
Officials said Diaz could be responsible for two attacks in Fort Worth. Both victims said Diaz forced them into their cars at knifepoint and assaulted them.
Diaz has a criminal record, police said, but they would not elaborate.
Two other police departments, are also investigating Diaz as a possible suspect in assaults on women, but police would not provide specifics.
Police said Monday that Diaz could be in the north Texas area, and they urged residents to keep an eye out for the suspect and call 911 if they spot him.
